"Bitter partisan fights and outworn ideas of the left and the right won't solve the problems we face today, but a new spirit of unity and shared responsibility will" – Barack 'The One' Obama

Wow. That's inspiring stuff. Do you feel the tingle ? I know I do. At least I think it's a tingle. It could just be acid reflux. I'm not sure, but I'm ready to cast aside all my fears, doubts, and independent thought processes, because this election is historic, the most important election in the ENTIRE HISTORY OF MANKIND, the most important election held in the known universe, ever. We must discard those "outworn ideas of the left and right" (and instead embrace only the outworn ideas of the left), because the only way we can achieve "unity" is to stop arguing over petty matters, such as the role of the federal government, federal taxation and spending, the economy, the U.S. Constitution, and so forth. Those things are not really important. What IS important is to blindly follow our "better angels", as embodied by Barack Obama, the new Messiah. How else can he deliver us from this mean, third world hellhole we call the United States of America ? How else will we ever take our place among the righteous nations of the earth, like Venezuela ? The old ways, the ways designed by our Founding Fathers, clearly do not work. Yes, those frayed and threadbare concepts promoted by the likes of Thomas Jefferson, James Madision, and George Washington may have resulted in America becoming the world's pre-eminent superpower, the world's beacon of liberty, hope, and opportunity, and the creation of 30% of the world's wealth by only 5% of it's people, but c'mon folks, life is not a totally carefree utopian paradise here, there are still problems, so we need drastic CHANGE, a change that only a Messiah who promises to "change the world" (not kidding, The Big O really said that) can bring.

"We've got to transform the political culture, so it's responsive to you, not to the special interests, not to the fat cats, not to the lobbyists" – Barack Hussein Obama

Tell it, Barack ! Tell it ! And of course, the way to get rid of the special interests and lobbyists is to create an ever larger federal government bureaucratic monster that micromanages all essential aspects of our society (the "progressive" way), so every special interest and lobbyist in the country is forced to fight like a starving dog over the scraps being doled out from an all-powerful federal government that picks the winners and the losers. Ask National City Bank (NCB) about that. When our Congressional overlords handed Treasury $700 billion of taxpayer money to bail out the financial industry, our government designated NCB and northeast Ohio the LOSERS, and PNC Bank from Pittsburgh the WINNERS. PNC got bailout money and NCB didn't. PNC bought NCB with the bailout money, and now thousands of northeast Ohio jobs are gone like the wind. Lots of those newly jobless NCB people are my friends. Thanks goodness they can rest easy knowing they'll get that Obama tax cut for the middle class. I'm sure they are grateful.

Thinking you can reduce the influence of lobbyists and special interests with more and more centralized government is one of the most braindead ideas I've ever heard. The truth is precisely the opposite. You minimize the influence of special interests and lobbyists by NOT letting the government pick all the winners and losers. You minimize the influence of special interests and lobbyists by limiting government and promoting individual liberty, which our old Founding Fathers figured out over 220 years ago, dummies that they were.

Oops, I apologize folks. There I go, thinking again, when I should be FOLLOWING the One, for the sake of, you know, "unity", "post-partisanship", and that "shared responsibility" thing. I'll have to work on that. It's going to take a LOT of work, so I may have another slip or two before I learn to obey my new massuh, like a good boy should.

"It is the essential belief that I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper, that makes this system work" – Barack Obama

Amen ! To test the validity of this idea, go find one of your neighbors who has more than you do, and demand half his hard-earned money. You'll quickly find out how people REALLY respond to the forcible "redistribution" of their wealth. I suggest you pack some heat to facilitate your neighbor's desire to be his "brother's keeper", or you probably won't get his money. A mask might help too. It's no different at all when the government forces that same redistribution, and that's what the Messiah is proposing, all in the name of "fairness", of course.

But don't get me wrong, I love it ! It's "transformative", just like the Messiah says.

For those of you lucky enough to have a certain satellite television network, you can watch The Obama Channel, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (I'm not kidding about this either). You didn't have to wait for the Messiah's primetime Hollywood television special last night. You can get all the knowledge you need right from the Obama source, even though you pretty much get that anyway from almost every television station and newspaper in existence. I have the Obama Channel on in the background right now. It's all the Big Brother anyone really needs. Quite convenient. For instance, the Obama Channel just informed me that Obama had both parents and grandparents, and they worked at various jobs during their lives, right here in America ! His grandfather even served in World War II, and Obama also has relatives who resided in the Kansas heartland (and we all know how liberals revere Kansans). What more do you need to know, people ? Barack Obama is a regular American, just like you, just like me, and just like Barry's pals, the terrorist William Ayers, the terrorist Bernardine Dohrn, the racist anti-semitic, anti-american Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the radical Father Pleger, the mobster Tony Rezko, and former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi. There's nothing to see here. We are the ones we've been waiting for. The only other thing we need is the Fairness Doctrine to shut up all Obama's talk radio opposition, and the Employee Free Choice Act to remove the secret ballot in union voting. Then we'll all be free and "united", just like the Soviet Union was. The new worker's paradise could be just around the corner, and the inconvenience of the dissenting voice will be effectively muzzled. Oh, the glory !

As evidence of Obama's "transformative" agenda and his "new politics", just look at how he ran his most excellent political campaign. He lied about opted out of taking public campaign financing, while still saying he believes in it (taking both sides of an issue at the same time is one of Obama's special oratorical gifts. A mere mortal politician couldn't get away with that time after time, but the Messiah pulls it off effortlessly), and he has spent the most money in the history of American politics trying to get elected, almost doubling the previous campaign spending record held by George W. Bush in 2004. Obama has the entire American media serving as sycophantic shills for him as he does this, and Obama also gave $900,000 to the biggest voter fraud group in the country, ACORN. Over $200 million of Obama's campaign contributions remain secret, in spite of Obama's repeated calls for "transparency" in government. Hillary Clinton's people are saying the Obama campaign won the early Democratic primary caucuses through voter fraud and intimidation. There are reports of millions in illegal foreign contributions being received by the Obama campaign. I even tested the authenticity of donating to the Obama campaign myself. After hearing that online Obama donations were not being screened properly to prevent fraud, I went to Obama's website and tried to donate $15 with my credit card. The phony name I used for the transaction was 'Campy AignFraud'. I used a phony address as well. The Obama campaign accepted the fraudulent transaction lickety split, and never even asked for my credit card security code. They even sent me a nice followup e-mail, thanking the non-existent Campy for donating money with my credit card. Change We Can Believe In.

The Messiah is a special, special man, folks. Get on board the train, or be left behind at the station. I have, as Campy's campaign donation has proven.

Obama/Biden in 2008. Vote early and vote often. This is freaking historic.

It is exactly because of posts like this one that your party is about to be crushed. Attack, attack, attack, rather than lay out a plan to improve this country worked for President Bush, but those days are over. It is not working for John McCain and for numerous other Rs in congressional races.

So, keep on attackin' King. We like when you do. Interesting that you use the term Messiah, since the Bible is really the orginal socialist maniftesto, right?

larry d. October 30, 2008 at 9:45 am

A lot of folks are okay with the voter fraud and intimidation as long as it benefits The One, King.

mary October 30, 2008 at 10:05 am

OK I will admit that I do not disagree with everything you have said here and I remember an earlier similar post. I will also admit that I only started reading your blog less than a month ago so perhaps in some earlier posts you have stated specifically why McCain/Palin will do a better job as president than Obama/Biden. If you have point me to the blogs where you have stated the case for McCain and I will read it. All I ever see here are attacks on Obama/Biden. Why do you think McCain/Palin is a better choice for President? Or do you? Are you just a rabid Republican who never has and never will vote Democrat? I have voted Republican in my life but the Republican party I voted for was a different party then. Obama is not perfect — no one is — but something does have to change and I do not see McCain and I especially do not see Palin bringing about change.

Da King October 30, 2008 at 10:52 am

da truth,
My party is the Libertarian party. They are always destroyed. I'm used to it.

Sorry I criticized the Messiah. I realize that is verboten. I hope the liberal media doesn't ruin my life now.

Da King October 30, 2008 at 10:54 am

larry,
They seem to be willing to tolerate lots of things if it benefits Obama.

roysoldboy October 30, 2008 at 11:01 am

King, have you found out how much it cost the Obama campaign to own that channel on DishNet? I have wondered for so long but never have found that one out. I never could stand to watch the whole 5 or 6 hours that goes on over and over 24/7 so I was pretty sure I couldn't stand the 30 minutes he bought up last night in order to hold the World Series game up longer since those ballplayers like to play in the coldest temps possible.

I thought you did a pretty good job of holding the Wealth Spreader up to the bright lights of truth here. I can't wait to see Rev Red's answer to what you posted. It seemed to me that da truth and mary weren't impressed with so much truth in one place, but then neither of them is a Republican which one of them told us today.

I would think that your reference to a double standard, which you didn't come out and say, when talking about the things that The One can say and do that others aren't allowed to say and do, really got to those who would rather live in the America he stands for than what McCain holds up to as possible.

I sure had some trouble figuring out which tv channel you were talking about when you mentioned the 24/7 one. At first I thought of MSNBC and then I thought you may have been talking about CNN. Both of them are kind of like that, you know. You really weren't being serious about the Obama channel, were you? I guess maybe that would be one of the best ways to keep your edge when writing that post. All I need is to hear his heavenly sounding voice to get worked up. I am now about to spend a grand hour listening to Tony Harris as he extols the virtues of The Man. So much fun for him and so little for fools like me that leave him on.

Keep up the good work, King. Someone with an audience has to do it and you do it so very well.

Da King October 30, 2008 at 11:05 am

Yes, mary, I favor McCain over Obama, even though I'm not THAT wild about McCain either, and I do spend a large amount of time attacking Democrats, because I have a special distaste for left-wing, big government, big tax, big spend, big social control policies. I also dislike Bush for some of the same reasons. I'm not a Republican, but I am a fiscal conservative. I believe in low taxes, limited government, and individual liberty, like our Founders intended and the Constitution mandates.

Right now, I'm attacking Obama because the election is coming up and it's important. Plus, I was trying to have a little fun with this post, to poke some holes in this inane aura of messianic infallibility the media is attempting to drape around Obama, and Obama is attempting to drape around himself. The reality of Obama is nowhere near the perception, nowhere near the image presented. It's all a stage show for the public.

da truth October 30, 2008 at 11:05 am

For someone who claims to be a libertarian, you sure sound like a shill for the Rs. The true libertarians are closer to liberals anyway; at least considering the current state of the R party.

Yes, Roy, we have our own stations, too. That's fair, right? Or was it only fair when you had your own stations and we had nothing. Those days are over, my friend.

Da King October 30, 2008 at 11:12 am

Roy,
Yes, I was being completely serious about The Obama Channel. It runs on Dish Network, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, channel 73. It's all Obama, all the time. Nonstop campaign commericals, interviews, and speeches featuring the Messiah, his wife, etc.

Da King October 30, 2008 at 11:16 am

da truth,
No, Libertarians have little in common with Democrats. Libertarians are fiscally conservative and believe in small government and liberty. The Dems are the opposite of that. I express a number of Libertarian ideas in my posts, as I did in this one, and Democrats disagree with them every single time.

The Reverend October 30, 2008 at 11:16 am

This post by King is like reading a faithful sports fan's opinion about his losing team. Sports fans are loyal to their teams no matter what. A loyal sports fan will set aside all evidence that their team is just not quite strong enough to win the, you know, championship. A loyal sports fan will make molehills into mountains when criticizing their stronger and better prepared opponents. A loyal sports fan purposely chooses to ignore all empirical evidence that makes his team seem weaker.

I'm saddened to see King treat this election as he would his favorite sports team. His accusations about Obama are of the standard FOX garden variety nonsense while, as mary said, he has nothing much to say in favor of an obviously inferior GOP team.

King and I find common ground on fiscal conservancy and rights to privacy. I'm glad about that. King's approach to many other issues, as witnessed in his post today, simply seems to me like sports fan loyalty to a losing team.

Ghost of Vince Foster October 30, 2008 at 11:41 am

King,

Libertarians, unfortunately, do have some things in common with the Dims.

The problem is that many libertarians are so radical in their approach to individual rights that they support such things these:

1. The perversion of marriage by homosexuals,
2. legalization of drugs, porn, prostitution, etc.
3. open borders, and
4. freedom from various forms of civic duty.

However even with that said, the obverwhelming libertarian impluse lies with the GOP and not the Dims, and anyone who says otherwise is either a complete fool or just a liar, shilling for the Dims and the left.

mary October 30, 2008 at 12:27 pm

I understand now. Every morning my coffee and my computer and I visit my long list of sites bookmarked under news. Not that all of them are news they just ended up there and one I always visit and read several articles at is LewRockwell.com. I can relate to several Libertarian ideas as well. And I agree that at least in theory the Republican Party is idealistically closer to the Libertarian than the Democratic Party. In practice I do not think the Republican Party knows what its ideals are right now and I do not think it has practiced its stated ideals for the last 8 years. I always try to understand where the "other guy" is coming from and you had me stymied.

I have regular lunches with several men I worked with. One of them who has grumbled about Bush for the last 8 years announced in July that he was voting for McCain because he was doing just fine financially and socially and every other way he could and from that point of view he did not mind another "Bush" term and he was not convinced of Obama's substance. My friend was out of the country for 5 weeks during which Palin was selected and we had a lunch when he returned. I told him I understand his position but to please investigate Palin some because I was concerned about the chance she could become President. He said he would. We have a lunch tomorrow — 5 of us — and the economy has tanked — I can't wait for tomorrow's discussions.

scott October 30, 2008 at 1:57 pm

Just to respond to roysoldboy, Fox confirmed that that the Obama informercial last night did NOT hold up the game at all – the first pitch was schedule for 8:30, and that's when it happened. The only thing it pre-empted was the Joe Buck pregame crap.

dale green October 30, 2008 at 2:38 pm

I want a President that doesn’t have to keep explaining why he knows so many people who are radical. What is it that all these revolutionaries and criminals see in Barack Obama? Why do they all associate together? There are so many of them it’s scary, Ayers, Wright, Rezko, Kahlidi, Flagle. Then these’s Obama's income redistribution. Socialism or whatever they want to call it, I don’t want the country to go from recession into a depression. He will have to raise taxes to pay for all the spending they are planning. Which is another thing. I don't want more spending, I want less. Things aren't good right now, but I don't want them to be made worse with a bunch of government giveaway programs.

When it comes right down to it, I’m sorry but McCain is a safe bet and I know what I’m getting with him. He won't hurt the economy any worse than it already is and what if there's some kind of international attack like Biden says is coming. Biden and Hillary have said Obama doesn't have the experience to deal with foreign affairs; MCain does. Plus, what if the LA Times tapes they’re talking about comes out after the election and it turns out Obama is praising the Kalidi guy, then what? I'm worried about his truthfulness, his associations, his judgement, his philosophy, and what about his willingness to say anything to get elected? Here’s a quote from the LA Times article. “In interviews with The Times, Khalidi declined to discuss specifics of private talks over the years with Obama. He did not begrudge his friend for being out of touch, or for focusing more these days on his support for Israel — a stance that Khalidi calls a requirement to win a national election in the U.S., just as wooing Chicago’s large Arab American community was important for winning local elections.” http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-obamamideast10apr10,0,1780231,full.story

The Reverend October 30, 2008 at 2:54 pm

mary has an excellent sentence here…

"In practice I do not think the Republican Party knows what its ideals are right now and I do not think it has practiced its stated ideals for the last 8 years."

That sentence is a bullseye.

For 28 years I've heard the same nonsense coming from GOP'ers. Limited government, fiscal conservancy, humble foreign policy, no wars of adventurism. For 28 years the actions and policies of those same GOP'ers has been just the opposite.

Adding to the GOP predicament, everytime a GOP president or Congress has been in office….government expanded, deficits set new records, prosperity actually lessened, and wars of choice and international meddling have been rampant.

The current fiscal meltdown marks the end of any illusions that supply side voodoo GOP economics works….it doesn't.

The current occupation and money draining experiment in Iraq marks the end of any conservative humble foreign policy talk. As far as the GOP being the better party to keep America safe? Bin Laden is still alive and his group is stronger than ever.

The doubling of the national debt in just EIGHT years marks the end of any "just trust us, we're better on the economy" blather.

All that's left is the GOP policy of meddling in Americans' personal and private lives. Schiavo, abortion, gay rights, stem cells, immigration.

Good luck with that.

Andrea October 30, 2008 at 3:03 pm

Well now so is McCain going to bring forth change ? NO ..in fact it will be 4 more years of Bush but WORSE. If there will be any change it will be with Obama.
Dale Green -Mccain is NO safe bet …listen to Pat Buchanan
play the video
http://thinkprogress.org/2008/01/22/buchanan-mccain-is-bush-on-steroids/
“If he becomes the next President of the United States, that would be an absolute disaster. … There would no foreign relations whatsoever.” say
Buchanan
then think about this ..you got dingbat palin who will step in of something happens to Mccain ..now that is scary. Obama has Biden as his VP who got foreign affairs experience. Just compare the campaigns they ran ..Mccains was erratic and full of lies. Obama was smooth and run well.

As for Rashid this is a hoax by Mcain the smear. He knows there is nothign on the video ..it was planted there by a Mcain source. Mccain gave funds to Rashid .. …besides I rather have a president who listens to both sides. Guess what a Palestine who is for his peopel is not a bad person. That war shoudl be not ours to make judgement on. The entire middle east situation and our support is because out strong Jewish lobby ..we shoudl be neutral.
But that is besides the point Obamas says he is on Israels side. read up and play the video

In 1993, McCain became chairman of the International Republican Institute. He still chairs that respected organization.
That same year, Khalidi helped found the Center for Palestine Research and Studies, self-described as “an independent academic research and policy analysis institution” created to meet “the need for active Palestinian scholarship on issues related to Palestine.” (Its archived Web site is HERE.)

Khalidi was on the board of trustees through 1999.

According to tax returns, the McCain-chaired IRI funded the organization Khalidi founded and served on to the tune of $448,873 in 1998 (click HERE to see the tax return)* as first reported by Seth Couter Walls at HuffPo.

Folks you are being bamboozled by the media, to keep you watching. Obama is not leading this election. He won't win this election. The polls are for media purposes only and to sell papers and advertising, to keep it interesting. There is something very wrong in the Obama camp and he knows it. Listen to him talk, you can hear the frustration in his voice.

Many of the "real" polls aren't favoring McCain but McCain has tightened up to almost even. Also, the AOL poll, which usually has ended up at 52 / 48 McCain at around 200,000 votes. It is now 62/38 McCain with almost that many.

People are seeing that Obama and his freinds are a risk we can't afford.

Linda from Florida October 30, 2008 at 10:00 pm

Wow talk about a lot of misinformed people. You actually believe the lies McCain and Palin are spouting. How sad…and what small minds. Do any of you bother to research things????? Oh I guess Palin who has already benfound guilty of ethics and now is facing another for charging for her children when in fact she was stealing from the state of Alaska to do so….and how bout that great husband of hers…you know…the one that would like to have Alaska secede from the union…and Ms. Palin herself told to keep up the good work…yep dont they sound American. And McCain has a lot of explaining to do also…like terrorist Liddy…giving 450,000k to this Palistinian teacher…had closer ties to him than Obama…the accident in 64 where good ole McCain killed someone while drunk that the Navy managed to cover up…the three planes that he crashed in the Navy…his ties to the Iran Contra rebels…good god people….do your research. Or are you that small minded that you just believe what they tell you. Now if anyone is scarey its you people.

Linda from Florida October 30, 2008 at 10:02 pm

Oh and another thing…if any of you people in Ohio are anything like Joe the Plumber (the proven liar…and slacker who doesnt even pay his taxes…) Dont you realize that McCain has made Ohioans look like unintelligent dupes with this guy. He is the laughing stock of the country. And this is the man you want for your president????? Pleaseeeeeee…….

Da King October 31, 2008 at 5:53 am

Vince,
Yes, the Libertarians do find common ground with Dems on some social issues, and, depending on the Libertarian, foreign policy non-interventionism, but I'm not really one of those types. I'm a little more to the left on social policies than Republican conservatives are (i.e., I don't care if gays can have civil marriages), but I'm not full on Libertarian on those matters either. I don't want America to turn into Amsterdam. My Libertarian leanings are mainly in the areas of limited government and individual freedom, with freedom being defined as – you can do what you like as long as you are not hurting anyone else. I'm definitely not for open borders, which harms our society.

Da King October 31, 2008 at 6:02 am

mary,
I commend you for making the effort to look at all sides of the issues. That is how we get an informed electorate.

As a fiscal conservative, I am greatly disappointed with Bush and his huge deficits and government expansion policies (federal government grew by 1/3 under Bush), but I find that no reason not to vote for McCain. McCain may be in the same political party as Bush, but it is Obama who actually favors the big government expansion, just as took place under Bush. Everytime I hear Obama talk about how McCain is just like Bush, I shake my head and say, no, Barack, it's YOU who is proposing to grow government like Bush did. McCain is promising to shrink it (though he'd probably have a hard time doing that with a Dem congress).

Da King October 31, 2008 at 6:10 am

Andrea,
Since you brought up Pat Buchanan, you should read what he says about Obama. I'm pretty sure Buchanan will be voting for McCain.

http://www.creators.com/opinion/pat-buchanan.html?columnsName=pbu

Da King October 31, 2008 at 6:15 am

Linda from Florida,
It sounds like you watch MSNBC a lot.
Ask yourself why you are attacking Joe the plumber, a private citizen who just walked over to ask Obama a question when Obama was walking by Joe's house. Is there some reason Joe's life should be trashed just for asking a presidential candidate a question ? No, there isn't. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

Da King October 31, 2008 at 6:27 am

Rev,
In your constant Republican bashing, I can't help but notice that you say very little about why we should elect Barack Obama instead of John McCain. Maybe it's because you know in your heart that more government expansion, higher taxes, more deficits, and more increases in federal spending (like Bush did), are exactly the wrong thing to do, especially now, during a recession, and that's exactly what Obama is proposing. You just don't want to admit it, so you talk about false matters instead, like trickle down economics, which the Bush policies WERE NOT. Bush cut taxes across the board. That included all those middle class people Obama says he wants to cut taxes for. In fact, Bush's middle class income tax cuts were bigger than Obama's would be. The only difference is, Bush didn't give his tax cuts to people who don't pay taxes, as Obama would. If you want to talk about higher taxes for the middle class, that was the Clinton era, which, ironically, Dems loved.

larry d. October 31, 2008 at 7:33 am

Take it easy on the Reverend, who has backed himself into a corner and has to publicly support Obama even though he's secretly pulling for the old codger at this point.

That's why he goes over the top–he's using reverse psychology to push people away from The One.

roysoldboy October 31, 2008 at 12:14 pm

Linda from Florida, you talk about research and are very apparently one of those lib types that does all her researching on left oriented sites both internet and media. I don't see most of the things you mention unless reading left oriented sites. I feel sorry for you for thinking you really research but you surely must think that left is where its at. Did you vote early? How long did it take? A "friend" from Florida told me yesterday that it took him 1 1/2 hours and CNN makes us believe that it takes at least 3 hours down there. Which is it for all the early voters in Florida? Are most of the Democrat voters in Florida out of the way for the serious voters on Tuesday?

roysoldboy October 31, 2008 at 12:20 pm

King, you say Obama to the Rescue in jest and last evening I heard the Attorney General of Michigan tell Lou Dobbs that in 38 counties in Michigan they have registered more people to vote over 18 than there are living in those counties. I wonder how many dead people ran down tol register to help ACORN out. I surely wonder how many of those dead people have voted early this year.

The same AG related to Dobbs that in Mississippi 123% of the people over 18 have registered to vote. That says that they have registered at least 23% more people than live in Mississippi. Somebody has really pushed to get EVERYBODY registered in too many states.

It seems that Obama will rescue us if he has managed to register enough dead people along with false addresses, even states of residence. He sure has been an agent of Change up to now.

Ghost of Vince Foster October 31, 2008 at 2:47 pm

Roy, an election isn't fair according to the Dims unless they're allowed to cheat — especially now that the Magic Negro is their candidate.

But I sense that B. Hussein Obama's magic will run out next Tuesday.

The Reverend October 31, 2008 at 4:38 pm

To those who lack awareness.

Obama will win in a landslide Tuesday…..the polls are accurate.

Not that hard to understand really, simply a continuation of the ass-kicking the GOP took in 2006. If you remember, Karl Rove, like averagejoe and Ghost, thought he had The Math in 2006. Silly TurdBlossom.

If you want to know the answer to the question…Why is this going to happen? Two words and one letter…George W. Bush.

At least W. did one thing right. He destroyed the GOP. Thanks Decider.

At least Ghost is consistent….came in with the Magic Negro smear….goes down to defeat with the same smear.

When you see the total electoral count for Obama on Tuesday night…you're gonna think he really is magic.

The Reverend October 31, 2008 at 4:42 pm

"The only difference is, Bush didn't give his tax cuts to people who don't pay taxes, as Obama would."

Yeah…that was Reagan, right?

"Enacted in 1975, the initially modest EIC has been expanded by tax legislation on a number of occasions, including the more widely-publicized Reagan EIC expansion of 1986."

Was Reagan a closet socialist? Who knew, huh?

The Beacon journal has a line on it's home page ragarding B. Hussein Obama's aunt.

The AP reports that she's living her eillegally and they she was suppose to be deported back to Africa in 2004. Of course , big ears says he didn't know that, yet he cited this woman in one of his autobiographies.

B. Hussein Obama is indeed a Third Worlder.

King, is it possible that America will disgrace herself and vote such a character in as president. I don't think so. Maybe 20-years from now after the public schools rot out the thinking ability of another generation of kids and more people with common sense die out — but not now.

Da King November 2, 2008 at 6:54 am

Roy,
There are also several cities that have more people registered to vote than they have citizens. Indianapolis is the latest one I heard. But that's okay, because it's not really voter fraud by the Dems, it's just the GOP trying to suppress the votes of dead people, those nasty GOP'ers.

Da King November 2, 2008 at 7:07 am

Trying to change the subject, Rev ?

I don't blame you. The truth hurts.

But I'm happy to know you are a Reagan fan now. I bet you feel silly for all those nasty things you said about the Gipper before. I accept your apology.

Can't wait for the Carter Era, Part II under Obama/Pelosi/Reid. I wonder who the next Reagan will be to rescue us from that heaping helping of liberal folly ? I'm thinking Romney, or maybe Jindal.

Plus, I think larry is probably right, Rev. You're secretly rooting for McCain, because if the Messiah wins and has a filibuster-proof Congress (with Al Franken for comic relief – "send your money to me, Al Franken"), then how will you blame every single problem in the country on the mean old powerless GOP ? Your blog will be an empty page.

Da King November 2, 2008 at 7:15 am

Vince,
I guess Obama hasn't gotten the memo about what really happens to most of our foreign aid. It is diverted to support the regimes of the very dictators who are responsible for all the third world misery in the first place. Most of it never reaches the people.

How long do you think it will take for Obama to save the world ? A month ? Six months ? I know I can't wait until the Messiah brings paradise to planet earth.

Da King November 2, 2008 at 7:22 am

Obama will win the presidency. He has the media, and by extension the people, who take their cues from the media, under his spell.

If you listen to Obama on the campaign trail talking about McCain, almost every single thing he says about McCain is patently untrue. The media reaction ? Silence. This is the biggest propaganda election in my lifetime, if not the entire history of our country. It's actually scary. I didn't think it could happen here, but it is happening right in front of our eyes.

How long do you think it will take for Obama to save the world ?

Well, considering that:

1) B. Hussein Obama' half brother is living in a hut in the jungle somewhere,
2) his illegal alien half-aunt is sponging off taxpayers in Boston, and
3) it's now come out that BO has admitted that affirmative action (i.e., racial quotas) was critical to his college success,

I'd say this clown can't help anyone or anything.

And that say it all — B. Hussein Obama is actually a front man in black face for the hard-core, America hating Left.

King I just spent a 1/2 hour reading stories and scientific reports on media bias and I am sorry but that media bias thing just does not cut it. Define bias and then define it from the place you are standing. It is a moving target and slippery slope. I tend to have more belief the scientific studies but the media has some good reports and numbers as well. Now is the time to read and learn because as at the end of every campaign the accusations of media bias surface in droves. It matters because then the looser can attribute the loss at least in part to media bias. Then the media bends over backwards to prove they are not biased and the winner's ability to further his platform is undermined. Another political and divisive tool. I will not ramble on about what I have learned because anyone who really wants to learn and be informed on the issue can do the same thing I did and start searching and investigating. I will say you cannot just read the headline or first paragraph of any of the stories.

You are right about the propaganda, King. The One has a taste for it. He loves creepy iconology of the kind that is most commonly seen under authoritarian regimes. In fact he's setting up between some big old pillars down in Columbus as I write this.

By the way, I read four hours worth of scientific reports on creepy commie propaganda before writing the previous post, but I won't bore you all with the details.

glad to hear you are informed larry d

mary,
I'm surprised anybody would try to argue that the media hasn't favored Obama. Most journalists and pollsters even admit it. It's obvious.

The stupified so argue because they believe emotion can replace facts & logic.

To Lefties like the "Mary" and the Akron Atheist, truth is not what is but what is useful to advance their agenda.

Understand this, and you understand them.

And that's why, King, arguing with this such people is folly. It's like mud wrestling with a pig — the pig loves it and you only get slopped up.
