I haven't had much time available for posting this week, and only limited access to a computer, so thanks for bearing with me. Things should return to normal soon, assuming any of you think I'm normal in the first place.

The following mythical conversation between Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and president George W. Bush demonstrates the politics of oil:
Pelosi: Mr. President, you simply must do something about these high gas prices.
Bush: We could drill for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
Pelosi: Forget it.
Bush: How about expanded offshore oil drilling ?
Pelosi: No.
Bush: Build new refineries ?
Pelosi: Definitely not.
Bush: Clean coal technology ?
Pelosi: Not going to happen.
Bush: Nuclear power, then.
Pelosi: You must be joking.
Bush: Um, we could lift the federal gas tax.
Pelosi: No way.
Pelosi (later in a press conference): This administration refuses to do anything about the high price of gasoline, which is hurting hard-working american families.

I have to give props to Hillary Clinton for having the nerve to go toe to toe with Bill O'Reilly on Fox News. I don't always agree with Hillary, but she made her case forcefully with O'Reilly. Hillary is the superior Democratic candidate by far over Barack 'The Timidity Of Hope' Obama. Here's a link to some of what Hillary said on the show. If you have a chance to watch the video, it's worth it. Hillary has some brass.

I know I said I was sick of Jeremiah Wright last time, and I am, but this was too funny to pass up, plus it will irritate Obama supporters (and all liberals, who react to Ann Coulter like Superman reacts to kryptonite). He said this is a country that "cuts food stamps and spends billions fighting in an unjust war in Iraq," neglecting to add that before you can cut the food stamp program, you must have a country that has a food stamp program.
He said we are a country that sent "over 4,000 American boys and girls of every race to die over a lie." And Wright said it is a country "where I can worship God on Sunday morning wearing a black clergy robe and kill others on Sunday evening wearing a white Klan robe." (Unless, like me, you do all your Klan-related murdering on "casual Fridays.")

How about Comrade Hillary’s warning that she’s obliterate Iran if Iran used nuclear weapons against Israel and other countries in the Middle East.

Janet Reno is not a "bull-dyke"—quit spreading lies and start acting like the adult you are supposed to be.
As I have implored with you before, you sound like a complete idiot with nothing much to say except name-calling and infammatory rhetoric, which only does a disservice to King and to the reading public and to yourself. My bet is that you make good, descent Republicans cringe that you are representing them as a surrogate. And I do count good, descent Republicans among my circle of friends.
Your comments usually add nothing but innuendo and are false and quicken the flames descending upon us as American people who deserve to have good and factual discourse on serious topics. If "you are not with us, than you are against US". Cut the crap.

The same game Enron played against California over electricity is being broadened to include all of America being played against by gambling commodities traders.
And your answer to this is to ignore it, seeking instead to point to supply as the problem…..and of course mocking Democrats who know there's not much more than a tincup full of supply left to exploit in North America.

I'm surprised you haven't touched on the NC and Indiana polls. Osama's 18 point cushion has evaporated in NC and the media and pollsters are claiming mass movements of white flight. NC is a "must" have state for the Obama camp and the super-delegates will be watching this one closely. To lose a neighboring state, as well as one with such a lead, is a deliciously entertaining thought. The sheep may not want to hear it, but on that note the end will have come.
The doom party aside, how will the far-left media heal itself when Hill is dubbed the nominee? They've painted themselves into such an isolated corner and any attempt to backpedal would be negated by their previous bias. They did it to themselves. The superdelegates always controlled the power and their attempts to diminish the SD's authority, set this scenario up. Leftist extremism at it's best.
What an explosive decision: Reluctantly send a wounded soldier into combat or hand it to a warrior and take a beating from Sharpton and the NAACP.

Alex, the odds are now quite long on Comrade [nuke 'em] Hillary getting the Dim nomination. The stuper-delegates are lining up for B. Hussein Obama. The delegate math just isn't there for her.
The comrade's game is now to rough up BO so badly that McCain wins convincingly in November, giving her a clear shot at 2012.
In this regard, Operation Chaos is lending a helping hand. It has been the comrade's life-support, even though the poor little fool thinks all those Republicans are registering as Dims because they actually intend to vote for her in November. As you can see, the delusions run deep in the lib psyche.
The Clintons are not loyal to country, they're not even loyal to the Dim party; they only loyal to themselves and that only goes so far as it relates to amassing money & political power. What a pair.

By convention time there will be so very many really negative Facts exposed about both Corrupt Power Mongers, Billary & Obama Bin Liar, That it will be beyond obvious to all sane and objective Americans neither are Fit To Serve or are electable. In an Emergency session, The Superdelegates will rightfully be forced to embrace their responsibility to promote and protect the party and will nominate their savior Al Gore. The one thing the winger right would protect against more than life itself, would be anything that would "offend the Negroes".
That must be why the Repulicans have NO "Negroes" representing their party in the House or Senate.
Come to think of it……the Republican Party must be perennially looking out for any potential offense to the "Negroes" by NOT having any of "them" represent their political party.

You make a valid point about the lack of blacks in the Rep party. My question to you is why do liberals save some of their most venomous bile for those blacks(Uncle Tom, bootlicker, oreo etc.) for blacks that are Reps. or other blacks that dont follow the standard victim routine? In my earlier life when I considered myself a liberal it was something I found very distasteful coming from those that proclamed to be open minded and compassionate and in some way represented me.

You ask a valid question angry. While I don't agree completely with your "standard victim routine" characterization….it is true that Democrats occasionally respond the way you said they do.
The reason, I would speculate, is that these Democrats see a wolf in sheep's clothing, so to speak. An example would be Clarence Thomas. He is an angry black man. Who exactly he is mad at, is not clear.
However, his anger becomes visible in his votes against the weak and vulnerable, lock step with Scalia, Alito and Roberts. This, to blacks and Democrats, seems out of sync with the American people's ongoing quest for fairness and justice, a quest that blacks know all too well.

Darn it, Red you just can't seem to realize that what the people feel has nothing to do with what the law and the Constitution. Blame Thomas for being a strict constructionist but stop talking about the Justices ruling the way blacks and other Dems feel. Those justices who have made decisions on the changing feeling of the people just don't belong there. It is the job of the Congress to make those laws, not the Supreme Court.

You saw right through the Rev's talk of fairness and justice regarding the Supreme Court. Thanks for pointing that out. Last week I was trying to get the Rev to understand that the role of the Supreme Court is not to rule "for the weak", but to apply the law. He didn't understand it then, and he apparently still doesn't understand it. This is the same misunderstanding Barack Obama has regarding the Supreme Court. Obama seeks "social justice" from the Court, rather than an upholding of the Constitution. That makes Obama a very dangerous man, seeing as how he could appoint multiple justices if he became president. If the rule of law falls in favor of political correctness, we will be taking a huge step toward anarchy and an undermining of our entire governmental system.

Just thinking about Obama bin Lien appointing even one Supreme Court justice with the Democrats having a majority in the Senate scares the hell our of me. Of course, that judge would have to be one would make decisions based political correctness and what he/she thinks is the will of the people. That would result in decisions based on making the people feel good and that is just not what the Founders intended the Supreme Court to be. They wanted a referee who could make rulings based on laws and comparing those laws to the Constitution. bin Lien and his group don't want that. They want to have a court that will make decisions based on what their little party wants to happen to keep people happy. They whine about the Constitution being ignored now but they believe in exactly what they whine about.
Old Red does a great job of speaking what is popular among the Demoncraps today and that becomes complete government control of our lives that starts out with bits and pieces of socialism and ends up with the most extreme form of socialism and most of us know what that is.

Next to defense of abortion, the highest liberal & Dimocrat dogma is not to offend the sensitivity of the Negro — unless, of course, the Negro in question is one who has escaped the Dim's plantation of government dependency. In that case, the Dims & libs will spare no effort in that Freeman's destruction.
And why?
Because, these leftists know that, if the Negroes shackled to the their plantation with the chains of government dependency see the Freeman walking tall and proud [like Clarence Thomas, Colin powell, Condi rice, etc., etc.], it might give them ideas that they too could be free.
If this were to happen, that would be the end of the Dimocrat Party.
The Dims even bought a whole system of black straw bosses to keep the chained Negroes in line. These include, among others, clowns like Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Rev. Wright and political sellouts like Obama, Black Caucus in Congress.
[And of course, always helping out to make sure the black masses are securely chained with dependency are the guilt-ridden liberals like The Reverand, Tom, and others leftists that post here.]

Nice synopsis on Dem victimology, Vince. Those race hustlers you mentioned, with Rev. Wright being the latest example, I think those guys are more about feathering their own nests than anything else at this point in history. They are operating on an outdated premise, purposely.
And the names that the far lefties call conservative blacks (like Rev. Wright with "Condaskeeza Rice") reveals the true nature of their hate-centered sick beliefs. It really is a mental disorder.
