I guess the backlash from moveon's general 'Betray-us' ad got them more bent out of shape than usual. I should look up the NY Times opinion of government surveillance of americans in the 1990's and post it here. Back when Clinton was in the big chair, the Times realized that such surveillance was necessary for national security. Now that Bush is in the big chair, the Times realizes that Bush is a fascist who is trampling american rights, and they have no trouble exposing classified national security secrets. How anyone takes the Times seriously about anything to do with politics, I can't answer. They will never manage to use this set of accusations to arrive at the agenda they have in mind. I think the major media sources have nearly convinced the people of the nation that Sanchez had his press conference to take the administration to task when reading his whole speech makes it very obvious that he had no such thing in mind. He was trying to show how the MSM and the Democrats have used lies about Iraq so often and have people nearly convinced that they are right. Somehow we have to convince the people of the United States that they have been lying all along and in so doing have propagandized the whole war to keep the world from understanding what really has been happening.
