Antawn Jamison had follow-up exam and an MRI Tuesday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health. The result was negative. He will receive treatment and will be listed as day-to-day and his status will be updated as appropriate.
Jamison left Monday night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs at 8:02 of the third quarter with stiffness at the back of his left knee and did not return. After the game he said that he experienced the tightness during the first month of the season, but was nothing to worry about.

They always say a guy is “fine” when he’s really not, George. It’s Cleveland Cavaliers BS 101. I would think you’d know that by now. They rarely tell the truth about injuries or why a guy is really sitting out.
Prediction: Jamison plays with it for the rest of the season, maybe gets a cortisone shot during the spring that, of course, isn’t revealed to the media, and has surgery on the knee shortly after the playoffs end. Bookmark this comment.
