Windy –

This is not about menial things like sports and columns.
Please get well so you can continue to share your unique combination of reasonably-objective insight and understated writing.

I’m looking forward to seeing you back on press row in October.
Thoughts and Prayers.

Russ -
I tried this and couldn’t turn up anything. Any idea where to actually plug in the search on the Carepages site?

Roy July 8, 2008 at 6:21 pm

I tried the carepages too and was unable to find that page…

another get well thought – still thinking of you, despite the drama with the indians!

Brittle Fingers July 10, 2008 at 3:41 pm

Does the Beacon have anyone filling in for Windy? I haven’t seen a new article on the Cavs in forever on this site…..I’ve had to resort to going to Cleveland.com instead…..

Brian–get well soon! You are the best Cavs reporter around!

Temple-Man July 11, 2008 at 10:23 pm

Brian:

Rescue us from crazed fan opinions!

We miss you!

(Wow, only the Clippers could make LA less attractive than Cleveland!)

barry July 14, 2008 at 4:51 pm

temple man – did you happen to catch jim hill and steve hartman calling elton brand a mama’s boy on channel 2 this weekend?

TeeRoy July 16, 2008 at 7:30 am

Does anyone know how the best beat writer for the Cavs is doing? I haven’t seen nor heard any updates on the guy. we miis heim dearly and hope is okay and recovering well. The ABJ would be doing it’s readers a tremendous favor if they’d give the fans an update. Hey Patrick M, why not clue us in?
Not much coverage of the team in this offseason without him. Have a great recovery Brian and we’ll keep you in our prayers.

shaney July 16, 2008 at 11:56 am

Hey, I saw a post a few days on here that said he was doing alot better. But it said healing is going. The post disappeared and responses to it also. Not certain why. Nothing seemed negative.
Lets just keep him in prayers.
