Well they could draft the big man out of Georgetown.Hibbert would be a nice addition at either the 19 pick or 11 pick.Yes he would be a project but just think about that for a moment.2 big men with range and the air apparent replacement for Z.Also guys just think if Gibson does not get hurt those last few games different story i think. But thats always the case for us Cleveand fans in general always falling short.I still say if Brad Daugherty does not hurt his back that the Cavs win one championship at least one.

I would like to see this team evolve into a more up and down, transition team when Z does end up kicking the bucket. Draft athletic bigs who can get up and down the floor, and some guards who are blazing fast. LeBron is unstoppable in the open floor, so why walk the ball up the floor 90% of the time?

If Mike Brown (and the front office) has any brains at all, the post-Z Cavs will be an uptempo, fast-break team.

I'd give Zydrunas a good, solid C.

It's amazing he's made well over $100 million being a slightly above average center.

Hey, when is Windy going to write his annual grades? I'm going to look into my crystal ball and say that he's going to give Big Z his annual grade-inflated A-. Or maybe he'll stir up some major controversy, and give the big guy a lowly B+.

By the way, I've always wondered how these grades are derived and what are they compared against. The rest of the NBA? A bell curve? Primoz Brezec? Just give James his well-deserved A+, and then flunk every other player, every coach, every scout, every front office guy. You almost wish James broke his foot and missed the season just so they could have had the greatest odds to be able to draft Derrick Rose. Perhaps Ferry will do another three-way and get Kirk Hinrich, who I presume will be on the block if the Bulls draft Rose instead of Beasley. Then Ferry can acquire Walter Herrmann and Kirk Snyder, and we could put the NBA's first All-Nazi team on the floor. Scare the hell out of everybody.

I noticed something else today. If the draft was held back on February 11, 2008, based upon the team records and corresponding draft order at the time, the Cavs would have selected 19th. So at least under Ferry's watch, there's consistency.

Excellent update, doc. Very informative, too. It's why Al Gore invented the Internet. But you neglected the photo. I'd post it myself, but I don't know how to post photos on there.

Nice Wiki update on Ferry, Doc. But where's the para about me impregnating him back in 2002?

Tucker's got the pictures to prove it.

"They don’t do anything LeBron doesn’t want to do himself. For better or worse, LeBron’s become accustomed to dominating the ball and I doubt that’s going to change. "

That's because we have never had anyone that CAN do those things. You get people that are competent, James will get on board with it. He just wants to win.

The new Wikipedia update.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Ferry#Biography

Can someone please figure out a way to slip Hafner some HGH?

CDR is a stud. If he's available with the 19th pick, I think maybe you rethink the Michael Redd trade.

We need a low post scorer more than anything else. Lebron is always going to dominate the ball. No pure point guard is going to want to play here. Until Lebron tears an ACL and has to modify his game or we get a coach who isn't his "partner" (not that there's anything wrong with that), he's always going to be the GUY with ball. He does defer to a guy on the low block, however. Now that Z rarely ventures within ten feet of the paint, except on offensive rebounds, we have NO ONE who needs to be consistently double teamed down low. Get Elton Brand. Whatever it takes. Pay for Donald Sterling's tanning bed membership for the rest of his life. Agree to watch the Shaun Livingston injury over and over like in Clockwork Orange with your eyes pinned open. Agree to let Mrs. Boatshoes spend the night with Chris Kaman on an island with a mound of methamphetamine. Whatever that sad sack franchise requests, give it to them. Lebron and Brand and some decent spot up shooters equals a title, baby.
