Would a lot more games after the trade *really* have made this team "jell?" Wouldn't the fork sticking out of Wallace make the Jell-O fall apart? West wouldn't be any less ugly with more Cleveland games under his belt, let alone be any more talented. The pretty boy white guy certainly can play better than he's been, but I really don't think that has anything to do with the number of games he's played with the Cavs. And Joe Smith is Joe Smith, he's not doing anything differently than any other team he's played with. His past coaches also alternately flipped him between the two forward spots.

I think the team would be better served if Smith started and played Gooden's position and minutes exclusively, but does it really matter? It's a moot point, Wallace's diva-like ego will never accept a bench role, and Ferry would look like a complete idiot if a guy he acquired with that kind of contract is coming off the bench behind Smith. So it's never going to allowed to happen, not this playoff season, not ever.

Regardless, how can anybody simply dismiss Cleveland as being unable to beat Boston or Detroit in a series? With James, they'll always have a shot, and one of the other players can have an aberration and affect a few games. Gibson had his Gerald Henderson moment last year.

The Cavs are done. Toast. This trade was made way too late and this team will enter the playoffs in chaos. No way we can compete with teams like Detroit and Boston, who are playing really well together. We're done. It was a fun year.

TP's hair... dont get all tingly, because at the end of the day, I still feel like Mike Brown will make or break this postseason run. Scary thought, I know, but he has to find the right way to use these players.

Of course, if the Cavs get past Boston or further, all of the credit will go to LeBron, anyway. At the end of the day, I'm all for whatever keeps LeBron James in Cleveland beyond his current contract, and if Mike Brown coaching this team is going to make that happen, keep him. If keeping Mike means losing LeBron, I'll happily wave good-bye from the airport parking lot.

There are players here that need to start playing well together, and they've had plenty of time to figure it out. If Gibson is still hurting, sit him down and give the minutes to Damon or Sasha. If Wally continues to suck, give THOSE minutes to Damon and Sasha. At least those 2 know the offense??

I hate to say it, but Alan has made a couple of valid points, lately. Moving Joe Smith to the starting lineup may not be a bad idea if Ben's back isnt completely healthy. He could easily match Gooden's production if given the same amount of minutes.

Dan Gilbert should be talking to Coach Brown instead of making apperances on cable tv. Ok so I respect Coach for sticking to his guns though his stubborness is beefing up the L column, but this lineup is not better defensively. They are giving up 101 a game, the season average was 97.4. I might buy him saying that they have better chemistry. Boobie's shot's will fall but we can't wait til the last game of the season to win... If you are not 100 percent why would you still take 25 shots a game?

Who knows, regarding Damon Jones, maybe there is something else going on behind the scenes. Maybe he mouthed off to Brown or one of the assistants. It would fit his profile, and it's not like we'd ever read about it. But you're right, who cares. If this team needs Damon Jones in any way, shape or form, then it's in big, big trouble.

And, yes, Rageaholic Rick, when I am not doc, larry d. and Corporate Whore, I am also "Amber." It brings out my feminine side. On the street, I am also known as "Cindy" and "Debbie." So tonight, when you feel your inner Eddie Murphy and you're out there at 4 AM cruising for a transvestite hooker, feel free to pull to the curb and give me a tug.
