I don't know how many of you play Cyberdunk, but it would be cool for some of us Cleveland fans to get a team together. If you haven't heard of it, it's a MMORPG basketball sim. Highly addictive and for true basketball geeks only. My player is Damon Jones and I'm working on making him a 3 point specialist. Here's the link if you're interested:

[...] You have to worry about LeBron’s back. He’s played deep into the playoffs for the last two years, international ball over the last two summers, and his off the court appointment book is pretty stacked.
The Cavs will beat Orlando Saturday and suddenly the Cavs are the team no one wants to face in the playoffs again. Way too much drama here for one meaningless loss, folks. Relax. You probably gave up after the Cavs were down 0-2 against Detroit in the playoffs, but then maybe a little adversity in life cripples you; the winners take the hit, smile and get back up for another fight. We'll still incredibly finish with about 46 wins, which is incredible with all that transpired--only about 4 less win than the last two years. Relax.

Uhh... Josh. I'm not talking about wagers over the Internet, and it wasn't and isn't a bluff. Simple exchange of phone numbers through e-mail suffices. And as far as I know, no teenagers bet $1,000 on the school bus. Maybe a bag of pot, but not $1,000.

Even if you were serious, and there's no way you are, considering we're on a message board on the internet, I never said Brooklyn wasnt a possibility. If the Nets are in a position to contend in 2010, and the Cavs are not, he could very well bolt. It's going to take a combination of things going sour here, and while it CERTAINLY isnt a foregone conclusion, it is possible.

The KNICKS, the initial topic of discussion (apparently you skip around), are an also-ran, has-been franchise. They are no longer relevant in the NBA landscape for the reasons I listed above, and when that Big Apple honk, David Stern, finally kicks the bucket, they'll matter even LESS. That was the point. Any player who goes to New York in the next 3-4 years is a complete fool, and I dont believe that LeBron James is even a slight fool.

Back to your bluff... if I knew who you are (dont want to), and we had some sort of agreement drawn up, and if it would be for the Knicks, I would gladly take your last $1,000. However, the reason your bluster and half-measures were met with silence is simple; no person in their right mind places wagers over the internet. That and we're all (maybe?) adults here, not teenagers on the schoolbus. So no matter what you say, you are kidding, and if not, well, how about just letting me hold the $1,000 until then?? I'll take good care of it.

Josh, two years ago, I posted that I would wager $1,000 with anybody out there who was that certain of himself, and we'd hold the money in a bank account until 2010. Not surprisingly, no takers for the bet. A lot of people talk garbage and trash with hateful posts, but when it comes to putting money where their mouth is, the silence is deafening.

$1,000, Josh. The Knicks or the Nets. There's a team out there that will take Randolph, so I'm guessing it will end up being the Knicks, but it really doesn't matter, does it? After all, you're so sure of yourself. We'll hold the money in an interest-bearing account.

I ain't kidding here, and no cash for my big trailer is necessary. And if somebody like Rageaholic Rick wants to put money where his steaming personal attack bile is, I'll pony up $1,000 for him, and for anybody else out there, too.

Sasha doesn't play because he has been terrible. And he wanted a new contract. There are alot of delusional Cleveland players out there. Damon Jones should be playing though. I love how Brian wonders why Andy and Small Ben play at the same time. It's because Brown can't coach!
