I am not at the game tonight in Charlotte, George Thomas will be providing the coverage. I will be back for tomorrow’s game against the Bulls at home and every game until this thing is over.

    RIDICULOUS! Get back to work.

  2. aymaida duty Says:

    D. West lookin good again!

  3. LeCavalier Says:

The Count has been interred. Looks like a DNP CD for Sasha tonight.

  4. LeCavalier Says:

This game is great, even though we’re down right now. No Snow, no Damona, just Delonte proving he can pass. I swear he has more assists for us in his brief time here than Snow, Damona and Gibs combined.

    LeCavalier outtie!

  5. LeCavalier Says:

I’ve made it to the big time. I’ve reached alan t. status, for I have someone impersonating me.

April 2, 2008 at 7:19 is not me. It’s probably “aymaida duty”.

Just remember, flattery will get you nowhere, buddy boy…

  6. Aymaida Duty Says:

Lol - you wish LeCav. I was just gonna say I finally agreed with ya but now I’m too amused. Glad to see ya made it to alan t’s level. Who’s flattering who? LOL

Six, maybe seven Cavs scoring in double figures tonight - pretty, pretty good! Of course it is the Bobcats.

Don’t know if y’all get it but this Toronto-Atlanta game is cool

  7. Jim Says:

Well George Thomas is soing a real good job - very entertaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. ttss. Says:

Damn, let’s see if Austin Carr can break his own record for the amount of times he says, “Shoot it Wally–it’s Wally’s world tonight!”

  9. Jim Says:

Lebron out!!?!?!?! 7 Cavs with at least ten, none of them named boobie???? These guys are passing like a college team. Weird, wild, stuff.

  10. LeCavalier Says:

April 2, 2008 at 7:28 is not me. It’s probably alan t, trying to stroke me ego.

    LeCavalier outtie!!!!!

  11. jon Says:

alan T must be hanging himself right about now. whats his purpose in life if he cant comment on Windy’s blog?

  12. Aymaida Duty Says:

O snap! Agent Zero is back in time for the playoffs!

That Jason Richardson had me worried for a couple minutes at the end there, but I’m real happy with the overall team play and Lebron tonight.

That Atl-Tor was real good, looks like the bottom half of the so-called ‘leastern’ conference is getting stonger. Well, bottom half of playoff teams anyways, NY and Miami are really terrible. Really.

  13. LeCavalier Says:

Good win tonight. Although I’d like to see more consistency on the defensive end because that’s how the Cavs will win in the playoffs. Thankfully, we’ll beat Washington or Toronto then it’s Boston— a team that will probably play a possession game in the playoffs, thus helping the Cavs.

  14. LeBronRedd Says:

Brain get to work! You could atleast talk about the game even though you arent there. Anyways I want to thank Wally for having a great game today! He is starting to come around. And I think that he might end up starting if Devin 4-14 Brown doesnt step his game up. Devin has been putting up Sasha and Larry-like numbers.

  15. Craig Waikem Says:

First time blogger, long time reader……

    Few thoughts on the game….

    1) Is anyone else enertained as much as me when Austin Carr talks. lol. He is HILARIOUS. Tonight he was referring to someone choking like a chicken and begain to mumble off when he realized what he was saying. (cavalier player missed an easy FG).

    2) LeBron cannot be stopped when he wants to be aggressive. Our supporting players are at least as good as last year and LeBron has proven he can take over games. I am excited for LeBron “Playoff” James

    3) We will loose to Boston in the 2nd round game 7

    4) I can’t wait to see Daniel Gibson back in full strenght and Wally cheering from the bench.

    5) I am really happy with Devin Brown. He deserves the starting gig over Sasha but truth be told he may just be a really great 6th man. The key is just to get him minutes, he is the only player on our team not name LeBron that can drive to the hole.

    6) How many fans showed up to the Prog? The tribe is getting some great national exposure but i’m more excited still about these Cavies!

    7) Where’s George Thomas?

MEMO: I have center court tickets for sale for every home game. I regretably live in Michigan and can never make games. Center court, upper deck. Will sell for face value (2 seats @$35). Send me an email if your interested!!!

  16. Craig Waikem Says:

2 tickets for sale center court upper deck face value $35 WAIKEMC@NORTHWOOD.EDU

  17. Mike Says:

You guys need to lay off Brian just because he doesnt have a live blog tonight. Who friggen cares. Its the internet people, grow up. Good win for the Cavs though, especially losing LeBron to fouls.

  19. Temple-Man Says:

Nice to see Mike Brown paring down the rotation to guys who want to play. Sasha has wasted everybody’s time. Maybe he can inherit the Larry Hughes website. Delonte West may be a real find. First time he’s had an opportunity to play in a winning situation with good players. If his shot stays consistent he could be the answer at point guard. Glad to see Wally hitting some shots. I’m tired of players developing Jiri Welsch disease when they come to Cleveland. Defense is still a mess and probably won’t get fixed until October because of the new guys.

  20. Craig Waikem Says:

sorry for the multiple posts….first time user like i said lol :-/

  21. Mortimer Says:

    Delonte “lookin good”???

That dude is so disgustingly ugly and grotesque looking that he BETTER go to the hoop and dish, otherwise you get caught up in looking at him. And, that daggers tattoo on his neck is quite pathetic. At least taking the headband off takes a bit of the startling appearance away-good move.

I agree with the blogger above, kudos to Dee Brown. I’ve grown to admire his toughness and floor game, albeit he’s not a gifted shooter. He is quite a gritty competitor.

  22. Josh Says:

The Cavs finally have a point guard. FINALLY!!!

  23. rjhhh Says:

Looks like the 4-seed is sewn up. No need to worry about the first round now.

The Boston series will be fun to watch…..

  24. Brittle_Fingers Says:

Windy picked a heck of a game to miss. I would have liked to read his thoughts on the Cavs coming through despite no LeBron over the last four minutes…..

  25. Dave Robisch Says:

Ah, little ones. If you had been listening to my wisdom since “the trade” you would have saved so much stress and strain. These regular season games mean nothing now in terms of wins and losses. The cavaliers with Lebron alone were never going to let Toronto catch them. So that meant simply getting people healthy, working on rotations, learning how to play together, and getting ready for the playoffs. Some responses to my fellow posters:

    1. The Cavaliers will not lose to the Celtics in 7. They will beat them in 6 and go on to win the champsionship. Did Jordan always have the best team? Not at all. His team had the best player surrounded by decent role players. The Cavaliers ( - the pathetic Larry Hughes and swiss cheese soft and unfocused Drew Gooden) now have those players. Stars like Lebron do one thing in the playoffs: they win. And Lebron will. Also, keep in mind, the Celtics have 3 of the biggest chokers in playoff history in Allen, Garnett, and Pierce and even big headed Sam Cassell can’t change that.

    2. Dee Brown - great pick up. I said it from the start.

    3. Pavlovic. Should never have resigned him but maybe he can do something next season. Why does it take so long for Brown to recognize a player sucks?

    4. Speaking of players that suck, Eric Snow. Not just this year but every year he’s played with the Cavaliers. He will go down as one of the worst players in the history of the franchise - maybe even worse than me.

  26. Mortimer Says:

Dave Robisch-cmon now, quite being so humble. You were actually a decent player with a decent shooting touch.

Good post……righto sir, Eric Snow has stolen more money from the CAVS then anyone in franchise history (including the pathetically lame Larry Hughes). He’s the last vestige of Jim Paxson-thankfully.

  27. Josh Says:

Snow will coach somewhere, with his Avery Johnson-shaped head and his basketball wits. To be a player of his stature, to shoot as poorly as he always has, and to stick in the NBA for as long as he has, obviously he’s an overachiever. Sometimes you just tip your hat.

Robisch- I like most of your take, and agree with you on the playoffs. Boston wants no part of the King.

I’m not so quick to throw the towel in on Sasha. I think Coach Brown is being too harsh with his minutes, and possibly stunting his development in the process. A 6′7 shooting guard who can run the floor is a terrible thing to waste, and I have a hard time believing he cant find a niche on this team. Sasha is the type of player who leaves Cleveland and becomes that invaluable “glue guy” for the San Antonio Spurs or something like that. Let’s not be hasty here.

I’m ready for Chicago tonight… I wonder if LeBron scores 50+ just to make a point about the whole Gooden/Stevenson thing. Looking forward to another 6-22 out of Larry tonight as well. The trade was a success if for no other reason than getting rid of a couple of clowns who were dragging LeBron down. Good riddance.

  28. Mortimer Says:

Josh, while Snow may be considered an “overachiever”, he’s also the recipient of one of the biggest contracts ever given to such an unworthy candidate. Nothing against him personally or his toughness-his contract is absurd. Just absurd. High thievery.
