But Windy, by his own admission, has said that the very guy about whom he and Pluto sainted in a book, has not granted him a one-on-one interview in close to four years. FOUR YEARS! You gotta go through his people, and he's been denied each and every time. So what's Windy gonna be denied access to, an exclusive with Shannon Brown?

I get what you're saying alan, but a beat writer needs to maintain a good working relationship with the team he's covering. The Cavs have the right to deny anyone press credentials, and the players, coaches, and front office can ignore anyone they want. If a beat writer does nothing but trash the team he's covering, the team will shut up around that writer and no longer give him/her any quotes, and without being able to get anything out of the team, how long is the newspaper going to keep him/her on the beat? That's what I meant by it being their job to be a homer. Obviously some criticism goes with the job, but BW is far from the biggest homer writer in Cleveland, let alone in the NBA. That was what I was trying to get across to JoeDallas.

I'm perplexed. How in the world do a few people on a blog know when a beat writer's birthday is? Did these sportswriter groupies receive an invitation to a Terry Pluto-hosted surprise birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, or what?

Tucker: If Pavlovic is spinning the wheel on WOF then
Damona could be Vanna White and Newble could be Pat
Sajack. Why the hell is he starting? Gibson should be developed right now. And why not play Shannon Brown.
I vote to extend Mike Potato Heads contract for 2 more
years. So he can scream like a hyena and spit that
disgusting tobacco juice like Indiana Jones.

Dear Morons at Tickets Inventory...

Please stop littering blogs like this one with your stupid spam. We are not fooled by your half-literate ramblings about how Los Angeles fans are great but "just need to stay up." (See http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2007/07/dodgers-interes.html)

Because of your lame tactics, I will intentionally avoid Tickets Inventory when buying all my future tickets for NFL, NBA, MLB, and Pokemon on Ice.

Companies like yours are ruining blogs, message boards, chat rooms, and in-boxes everywhere. I especially resent having to go through and delete your fake e-mails to me when I'm trying to locate messages about the all-natural herbal enhancements that I ordered.

Lakers are the best team in the NBA, we have great fans, really Los Angeles has great fans we just need to stay up.

For example, last week in Los Angeles ,an associate of mine wanted to watch the lakers, so I tried to get him front

seats, guess what everything was sold out that show how great our fans are. The prices were really crazy though 2

times the face value. Anyhow I end up getting them face value in the end using this free comparison tickets site

through this link :

<a href="http://www.ticketsinventory.com/nba/los-angeles-lakers-tickets/" rel="nofollow">lakers tickets</a>
Anyhow I though this is something would interest you, GO lakers!!!
God bless Basketball!!

Actually, with sports writers it's a crap-shoot.

Sportswriters are usually the least talented type of writers. Brian and Terry Pluto are really the only ones worth reading in Cleveland and Akron.

If I had a dollar for every time that clown Branson Wright ended his column with "indeed" in his last sentence. He also needs the help of two other writers to cover the cavs even though he steals trade rumors from hoopshype.com.

Brian, congratulations on getting another well-written piece on ESPN.com. It's great to see things going well for you.

Portland is indeed a boring place. DO NOT leave that city without going to Voodoo Donuts (look it up online). They have something called a Maple Bacon donut, which sounds gross, but is in fact the best thing you will eat this entire season.

Keep up the good work.
