Allen,

I appologize, I misquoted you. You stated is sucks to be a Cavs fan. While I understand the difference, I took it to mean that the team sucks as well. I stand by what I said earlier, but I do appologize for misquoting you.

No Name, when in the hell did I say the Cavs "suck?" Your posts would make a helluva lot more sense if you wouldn't make stuff up.

And big freakin' deal. The Cavs beat the Pistons. So? Prior to that, they beat two WNBA teams. And after that, they were so outclassed, that many in the rest of the country now refer to them as the worst finals team ever. Almost makes me yearn for the Cuyahoga River setting itself on fire.

kj, what in the f*ck does Larry Hughes have to do with Grant Hill? If Hughes agrees to give back $14 million of what he made this year, then he'll equal what Hill is going to get from the Suns. What in the world are you talking about? No, seriously, what kind of happy pills are you on?

No Name, how entirely right you are. Tucker is as moronic as they come. Like you said,

"And Allen, to say the Cavs suck just shows how naive you really are. The Cavs beat the Pistons, you are absent. After they get swept you come back and act like nothing happened. IMO, you lose all credibility. Can you possible say something positive about the Cavs without saying something negative."

That's exactly what I'm saying! Why the hell are people still even listening to this imbecile? It's like a doctor telling someone they're going to die only to leave the bedside as soon as they show signs of living. I can only pray that either 1) the Cavs win a championship or 2) LeBron does end up signing an extension. and I pray for this not as a cavs fan, but only because the Pistons series showed that as soon as Tucker is blatantly shown to be the idiot he is, he'll pull a copperfield and disappear. If either of those two things above happens, I feel it won't just be a temporary exile, but that Tucker will be gone for good to spout his nonsense elsewhere.

ahh, "t. pluto's hair," WHY do you think the league being down on the cavs as a contender is " a significant consideration" exactly? what does that have to do with anything? really. i'm being serious.

ahh, and it's "common sense" now to KNOW as you do, nostrdamus, that each team has made "signifcant upgrades." funny, how you don't mention what those teams have lost as well. and i gave you REASONS why those players who signed are not real threats. your posts, on the other hand, are long on opinions, short on facts and reason(s). and NONE of those players named are superstars. none. zilch.

and you state further that every team drafted 1-3 young players! you're kidding? you mean that crappy teams get to draft young players? does this happen every year? look, genius, every crappy team drafts new players every year. and about 60% make a contribution to their teams the next year. and hardly ever does a rookie end up being the "final piece" to a championship contender. let me ask you again, cuz you seem to be avoiding it, how will stuckey help the pistons beat the cavs next year? how about noah for the bulls? do you not understand that randolph was a MORONIC pick-up for the knicks as they already have a low-post scorer in curry? see, i don't know if you actually watch basketball but it's kinda hard to have two low-post guys demanding the ball on the floor at the same time. oh and i'm the same guy who said the early coronation of the bulls last summer when they signed wallace was bunk. and i was proven right. and all the pundits and "realists" were wrong. again. how many times do they have to get it wrong before you guys start thinking for yourselves and stop worrying what writers and other teams think of the cavs?

and i would not have been thrilled if ferry got allen by giving up what the celtics gave up at all! and i would be praying that his two surgically-repaired ankles are ok.

cleveland is perhaps "behind the curve" on signing free agents but the part none of you seem to be getting is that the other teams are doing more than the cavs so they CAN CATCH THE CAVS!!! HELLO?? we're at the top! we're the hunted! we're where every team in the east wants to be!! that's why their making crazy moves left and right because they knew ( and know ) that once LBJ got a taste of the finals he was going to shut the door on the east for may a year. period. and if you don't think that that's true, well, you haven't been paying attention...

and btw, lewis is soft and orlando will be killing itself down the road if it signs him to a max deal, as is being reported...

doc and Allen, it is called frequent flyer miles. I am sure with his travels to the far east last summer and throughout the season he racked up quite a lot of them.

And Allen, to say the Cavs suck just shows how naive you really are. The Cavs beat the Pistons, you are absent. After they get swept you come back and act like nothing happened. IMO, you lose all credibility. Can you possible say something positive about the Cavs withouth saying something negative.

As for the lack of moves, who says they are not doing anything? Just because ESPN does not say anything are we supposed to believe that Ferry is sitting on his hands doing nothing? Let's see what happens once we are officially allowed to sign someone before jumping to conclusions. So far, there has only been one major free agent, Rashard Lewis, that supposedly has been signed.
