Was "is still managing to pile up turnovers like a dessert topping?" accurate? Or "is still managing to pile ON turnovers like a dessert topping?" painted a more accurate picture? Questions that demand answers.

Oh, when I say "him," of course I mean the Lithuanian Legend. I failed to make that clear above. Sorry. Too many interviews. Much like Ilgauskas, the stress of getting rejected is making my writing suffer. It stands to reason it's because the Cavs aren't distributing me the keyboard.

Larry, I'm too busy traveling to job interview to job interview to job interview to job interview to focus on important matters like Team Ferry, aka Team Salary Cap, aka James and the Eleven Dwarfs.

By the way, according to our blog host's ABJ stuff, apologist nonsense is being framed by asserting the Cavs have once again "forgotten" him. Of course, I find it awfully curious that a guy who purportedly never touches the ball is still managing to pile up turnovers like a dessert topping.

But on the bright side, only four more years until his "forgotten" contract is off the books. Until then, I am looking forward to LeBron's Timberwolves...uh, I mean Cavs playing their little hearts out each and every playoff round.

I confess I miss Alan and it's a pretty exciting series so far. I suppose our host is either too busy, disinterested or embarrassed about how far behind the curve he and his colleagues at the ABJ have been on Illgauskus.

I must say Snow had a great game last night, but he passed on several open 10-foot jumpers and badly missed a couple more. An above-average point guard would have scored 30 or more facing that defense.

Illgauskus is playing terribly, rushing shots and looking tight. Why does he miss so many shots from the elbow, a spot that seems made for him? He also panics in the low post and loses the handle. It's going to be painful watching him against the Pistons, if the Cavs make it that far.

A parting thought: Nash should have finished third or fourth, at best, in the MVP race. Kobe, LeBron, Wade and Arenas are all better players, by far. If you prefer the most important player on an "elite team," Phoenix doesn't qualify and I'd go with Ben Wallace or Dirk Nowitzki.

I thought it was common knowledge in these parts that Z is "one of the top five centers in the league." That's why, come playoff time, Coach Brown would surely come to appreciate the big fella's game in the low post.

I think the best thing about Ilgauskas, besides being sweet and tender with the ladies, is "Z." It is very difficult to knock any guy with the nickname "Z." It's like Xavier McDaniel, who the Cavs would have gotten in a trade in 1990, until John Williams put the kibosh on it. It would have been impossible for local people not to immediately fall in love with a guy who has the nickname "X."

In fact, I think Windhorst should name his first kid Xavier. X Windhorst. A name like that would get the best table in the restaurant.

Yeah, Z was especially atrocious last night. Absolutely abysmal, actually (was that alliteration?) For once, I am on baord with everything Tucker said.

He missed layups when he should have had easy dunks, he missed wide open jump shots, and he got into foul trouble. So, I guess it was just another typical game from Z.

I guess playoff experience doesn't mean squat when you can't play.

Even fellow softie Rik Smits knew to dunk the ball when he was alone six inches from the hole. Nearly 10 years later, and Z still can't grasp the concept. So you lost me here...Which basketball abacus awarded him the noble title of number five?

Big Z will definitely have to step it up if the Cavs move on to Detroit. Or maybe it's just that Haywood is the sixth best center in the NBA. And Ruffin, at 6'8" or whatever, is number four.
