Still no sign of Dawson

Browns kicker Phil Dawson missed practice for the second consecutive day. Dawson was inactive Sunday at Baltimore with a strained right calf, first appearing on the injury report on the Friday before the Ravens' game, and did not practice Wednesday.
It was the fifth game missed by Dawson in his Browns' career, which began in 1999.

Robiskie inactive again

Rookie receiver Brian Robiskie, the second-round draft choice from Ohio State, was listed as inactive for the second consecutive week.
Also inactive for Sunday's game at Baltimore are kicker Phil Dawson, defensive back Gerard Lawson, running back Jamal Lewis, right guard Floyd Womack, offensive lineman Rex Hadnot and tight end Greg Estandia.

Lewis doubtful; Dawson questionable

Starting running back Jamal Lewis was listed as doubtful for Sunday's game at Baltimore, which means there is at least a 75 percent chance he will not play against his old team. Lewis sat out all week with a hamstring problem apparently suffered last weekend at Denver.

Browns name six team captains

Browns coach Eric Mangini announced the result of the team vote for captains Thursday.
Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas and running back Jamal Lewis were selected on offense, linebackers Eric Barton and D'Qwell Jackson on defense and Pro Bowl return specialist Josh Cribbs and kicker Phil Dawson on special teams.
