McDonald upbeat after benching

Starting cornerback Brandon McDonald was benched in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to Cincinnati, but it lasted only one series. Safety Mike Adams started in his place, then took over at nickel back for Hank Poteat. Receiver Mike Furrey was later inserted at safety in the dime defense.

Robiskie, Davis inactive

September 20, 2009

Rookie receiver Brian Robiskie and rookie running back James Davis were among the Browns inactives for Sunday's game at Denver.
Davis suffered a shoulder injury in last weekend's season opener against Minnesota. Robiskie is not injured, but has been running as the fifth receiver behind Braylon Edwards, Joshua Cribbs, Mike Furrey and Mohamed Massaquoi.
