BEREA: The Cleveland Browns have released linebacker Bo Ruud.
Ruud, released Monday, was claimed off waivers from the New England Patriots in April. He was a sixth-round pick by New England out of Nebraska in 2008, but missed all of last season recovering from a knee injury.

Mangini dismisses QB sabotage talk

BEREA: Eric Mangini says his Cleveland Browns quarterbacks are competing, not cheating.
The radio transmitter inside Anderson's helmet wasn't working in a Sunday scrimmage, so he used hand signals to relay plays. Anderson joked after the scrimmage that Quinn told the defense what all the signals meant.

One of the overriding themes during the Brown-White scrimmage was about how well first-round pick Alex Mack would hold up against Pro Bowl defensive tackle Shaun Rogers.

ESPN: Stallworth to meet with commissioner

ESPN.com is reporting that Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth will meet with NFL commissioner Roger Gooddell this afternoon.

Lack of national respect continues

Reports: Second-round pick Massaquoi signs

According to several reports, the Browns have come to terms with wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi. The team's second pick in the second round signed a four-year contract, according to Pro Football Talk. The deal is worth a maximum of $3.636 million.
