Browns RB Peyton Hillis named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Browns running back Peyton Hillis has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance this past Sunday in Cleveland's 34-14 win against the New England Patriots.

Hillis had a career-high 29 carries for a career-high 184 yards and two touchdowns. He also finished with three catches for 36 yards, giving him a career-high 220 all-purpose yards.

Hillis has never won the award before, and he is the first Browns player to earn it since former Cleveland quarterback Derek Anderson garnered it during Week 2 of the 2007 season. Hillis is the fourth Browns player and the team's first running back to win the award since 1999.
