According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Browns running back Montario Hardesty will miss the entire season.
Hardesty left Thursday's game in the second quarter. Tests revealed, Schefter reports, that the rookie has a torn ACL in his left knee.
Hardesty will undergo further testing today.
In seven carries against the Chicago Bears Thursday, Hardesty ran for 25 yards and a touchdown. It was his first action of the preseason after missing the first three games due to a bone bruise in his right knee.
Too bad,but I commented in an earlier column that he was damaged goods and a wasted draft choice.Great talent but when you have bad knees it's like a pitcher with chronic arm problems.Thank goodness Cleveland picked up Peyton Hillis from Denver.

He may be the greatest kid ever, but it's time to cut their losses with roster cut downs due.
He just can't stay healthy.
