When the Browns waived rookie defensive lineman Kwaku Danso and rookie wide receiver Johnathan Haggerty after they suffered injuries, the Browns were able to claim them off waivers after 24 hours and then put them on Injured Reserve.
Cleveland has the following seven players on its IR: Danso, Haggerty, punter Dave Zastudil, rookie running back Montario Hardesty, defensive back Chris Roberson, defensive lineman Titus Adams and tight end Greg Estandia.
As for your last two questions, there is no limit to the number of players who can be placed on IR and those numbers don't affect the eight-man practice squad.
