Im gonna have to side with Marc on this one. Hiring Mangini was a mistake from day one. The article suggests that Mangini coached 2 winning seasons in New York out of his three. If Im not mistaken his best record were in his first two seasons, and as he wrapped his fingers around the roster the team started winning less and less. I.E. Mangini was taking the Jets straight down the toilet like he is in Cleveland. We need to get rid of him sooner than later so we can identify our next head coach. Mangini hasn't accomplihed enough on his own(most of his success came answering to Bilichick) to command respect for the players. Mangini's decisions have hurt the team, and the rag tag bunch of has been and never were Jets he brought to the roster are stinking up the trash heap of a team Mangini trots out onto the field every week.

I saw the Browns sunday for the first time this year, I actually had a Sunday off so I made the most of it. There is only a handful of problems but no short fix. 1) the linbacker play is horrible, they did pressure the passer but if the D-line didn't stop the run it was up to the secondary. 2) apparently the QB is not allowed to audible, many times they just ran the play right into the sterngth of the defense, 3) as I've read many times the QB has no touch, too many short passes thrown at receivers knees, 4) the offense is way too predictable, how about a pass to Lewis, or maybe a screen once in awhile? 5) no playmakers on offense, 6) WR's don't know what a "hot" route is and aren't aware that the defense may try to take the ball away from you .
Iguess I could go on, but why? Actually for most of the game the D-line in particular and the O-line appeared to do their jobs, and the punter was good.

i like how mangini took credit for brian schottenheimer. never mind that his father farts more knowledge about football than mangini will ever have.

i don't like wishing bad things on other people but mangini isn't a person. he's scum.

hanknaples: PIPE DOWN. You are in a minority of ONE. NO ONE wants Mangini here. If you can't see how this buffoon has single-handedly destroyed this franchise from the moment he arrived, then you need to be locked up. Mangini is "THE" problem, and Lerner had better not stop with the Kokinis dismissal. Mangini and his ENTIRE staff must go. This hiring and the subsequent fallout/results have been devastating, both for the players, the fans, the media…the entire organization.

THERE IS NOT ONE SHRED OF "POSITIVE" IN KEEPING MANGINI. NONE. NO UPSIDE. NO FUTURE HOPE. NOTHING.

Cut the fatboy loose, Randy. Do it quick, like a bandaid, and let's begin the healing and TRUE rebuilding process. This little tyrant has NO business running a pro football franchise (he's ruined YOURS, Randy)….and I guarantee you, he will NEVER, EVER be given the reigns to any team again. EVER. Doesn't that tell you something? The guy is a pathetic laughingstock throughout the league!!! And this is the guy you hired!!?? How does that reflect on YOU, my friend??
