Mangini put Brady in for one reason only. He was hoping that Quinn would get injured severely enough to be out for the rest of the season thereby eliminating one-half of the Quarterback controversy and effectively relieving Mangini of having to make a decision about it. Decision making is after all not Mangini's strong suit.

how could they play that bad? especially against a no team. i wish we would of never got a team back in cleveland, that way we could root for a real team of our choice, and just say oh well. how could you coach that bad, put someone else in to QB with 3 minutes left and everyone else dog tired, piss poor managing.

I would somewhat agree with the offensive coordinator issues. But I agree more with Anderson being the main culprit. The last two weeks have especially shown how far off his balls are with the targets. Ridiculous. Every football game I watch of other teams, there are drops. They happen. But those teams don't walk away with a 10 QB rating. The drops the last couple of weeks are probably average, but his throwing accuracy is horrible. I doubt you will see him sign with another team next year….that bad.

I am with Scott….the "O" cordinator has to put them in the right position to be successful. We dont know if DA has the green light to audible or not or is it Daboll? Who ever is play calling definately needs talked to or replaced. Only guessing that Daboll or another coach has their hands in it since both QB's have regressed this year.

Mangini gave Brady Quinn 10 quarters against 3 of the better teams in the NFL and then yanked him in favor of Anderson. This was after months of jerking both quarterbacks around in the pre season. Steve Young said it best when he told his T.V. audiance that Brady Quinn is a starting NFL quarterback, maybe not with the Cleveland Browns, but he is a starting quarterback. Why didn't they trade him before the trade deadline if they didn't think he was going to work out. Because Mangini is a looser who does not care one bit for anyone but himself. I only hope that the Brown's trade Brady after the end of the season so he has a chance to prove what he is cabable of doing in the NFL. Then the only time I will every attend a game at the Brown's stadium is to cheer for the team Brady is playing with.

All good complaints. But, I still say our Offensive Coordinator is a joke. I don't think he could coach a Pee Wee football team. I don't think firing Mangini right now will do us any good. We can't keep going after the head coach when our players are the ones who stink up the field. The play calling is a joke. Run up the middle, run up the middle, pass, then punt. And whos idea was it on third and 16 to have Cribbs run. He gained 7 or 8 yards. Is that enough for a first down? No, and we punt yet again. I don't have a problem with trying Quin again, But, the Offensive Coordinator has to go.

The cleveland browns continue to lose,and coach mangini seems lost and without a clue to change this once proud franchise around.I say shame on you for substituting quinn for anderson with three minutes left in the game and down 30 to 6……….class act for quinn to go out and play,the browns don't deserve this young man……..Mr.learner you finally spoke,but without the stance of a george steinbrenner…..your response was as weak as the performance of your team….i understand that you want to give this coach time to get it right,however,quinn received ten quarters?coach manginni will have totally ruin this team with another year to trade with the jets……bringing ratliff with him should have been a clue he can't evaluate talent…..i watched the game in its entirety,release anderson ,go with quinn ,and demand that your players perform……and you could use some veteran wide receivers………………

Anderson seems to be the problem with his wide receivers. Many of his passes are behind, low or definitly where it puts the receiver in position to get injured. His interceptions or fumblers always seem to be when we're moving to score. I fail to believe the problem is all on the rookie receivers. We've now seen 3 out of 4 years of pathetic qb play when Derek is in there. Even in his good year, his passes were usually putting the receivers in bad position. Their talent overshadowed Derek's play. Time for Brady, if we lose, at least its with someone different but with potential. His play(Brady's) in the past couple years, when he played, were not bad. We know what we have in Derek, I can't take another game with his playing.

Regardless, Scott, we cannot…CANNOT…endure another week of Derek Anderson, who I contended prior to the season would not even make the ROSTER of almost any other NFL team. He has done nothing to change that perception. And yet, he is Mangini's "guy." That simply tells us, Mangini is not "our coach." Period. Time to see Brady again. At least he's pretty.

It doesn't matter who the quarterback is. Until the Brownies find a real Offensive Coordinator with a actual playbook this team will go down in history as one of the worst football teams in Cleveland Browns history.
