Browns sign Mosley

The Browns announced the signing Friday of former New York Jets defensive lineman C.J. Mosley, who received a two-year, $5 million deal, according to his agent, Harold Lewis.

Lewis said Mosley, a four-year veteran who will play end in the Browns' 3-4, had a tough decision between Cleveland and Jacksonville, but "it came down to the close relationship he and coach Mangini shared all those years in New York."

Lewis said he's still trading proposals with the Browns for linebacker David Bowens, another client who visited the Browns this week.
