Browns receiver/returner Joshua Cribbs injured his right ankle running a pass pattern at practice Wednesday and left the field with trainer Marty Lauzon. Cribbs stopped, pushed off and came back to the ball, then came up limping.
A Browns spokesperson said Cribbs got the ankle taped and returned to practice, catching punts and participating fully.
The former Kent State quarterback was to get more snaps in the "Flash" package in Sunday's season finale at Pittsburgh because Ken Dorsey suffered a rib injury and a mild concussion last weekend against Cincinnati. Cribbs was already playing with a sore back.
Browns coach Romeo Crennel said Dorsey was "very questionable" for Pittsburgh, which would leave Bruce Gradkowski, the former Bucaneer signed on Dec. 2, to start against the Steelers. Gradkowski is a Pittsburgh native.
What next? The only guy on the team that shows he loves the game for the game's sake. There is no question this team had the talent as was proven by their defeat of the Giants this year. It all comes down to heart. Edwards, Winslow, and some other members (leaders) of the team forgot what it takes to be a winner. It's teamwork with no room for prima donna's who exhibit a large dose of ego with little maturity. Granted, they have suffered key injuries this year. It's not Crennel. He is the easiest person to to blame for this dreadful team. It's all about heart. Look at the losses this year in the fourth quarter that started this slide. I yearn for the glory days of Paul Brown's Cleveland Browns.
Cribs was to get more snaps in the game? Didn't I hear that last week? Which play will he use – handoff or Cribbs keeps it and runs… the Browns offense has both plays!
The last post says it all … it's about the heart.
I yearn for the glory days of Paul Brown's Cleveland Browns. This team went downhill when Modell took over.

I just watched a segment on STO with Zac Jackson where he talked about Cribbs's success against the Steelers complete with supporting video AGAINST THE BENGALS…..you can't make this stuff up!
