Hello Browns fan. Today's live blog will begin at 12:45 p.m.
In the meantime, check out Marla Rideour's five things to watch in today's game.
My prediction: Browns 17, Ravens 13. Strong game for Jamal Lewis, not so good for Derek Anderson.

It's finally over. I have been a die hard Browns fan for 48 years. Went to my first Browns game at the old stadium in 1960 when I was 3. I even remember sitting in the 3rd row right behind the Browns sideline and watching Jim Brown run down the other sideline and seeing him from just the waist up (since the field was raised in the middle for drainage purposes). Then during the 1970-71 season (Nick Skorich's was head coach) I was one of ten kids that were chosen by the Plain Dealer and got to go to Hiram College for training camp. We spent the day there getting autographs, pictures, ate lunch with the players and got to play catch on the sidelines with the players. Then I spent 30 years in the Air Force but followed them with great intensity. Went to see them when they played in the towns I was stationed at. Saw them play the Bengals several times in the 15 years I was at Wright Patterson in Dayton.
Two years ago I started writing for "BrownsGab.com". Got alot of responses there. Finally after watching the Browns not give us anything since the team left, I decided that they do not want to win. What other reason would there be for sticking with Derek Anderson as QB? Sure, last year he had 29 TD's and almost 3,000 yards passing, but he also had 19 interceptions (which was the 2nd highest total in the NFL). Completion % and QB rating were also in the bottom 5% of the NFL. And I am sure you have all noticed that DA "can not" hit the dump offs to the backs or thew short slants across the middle. This year is NO different. DA is rated 30th out of the 32 starting QBs in the NFL. He isn't even completing 50% of his passes. He gets flustered easily and Edwards can't catch the ball if it's thrown to him.
Crennel is not head coach material, Chudzinski is no offensive coordinator, and Tucker has helped the defense but there still is no pressure on the QB. With that multi million dollar defensive line, we should be averaging 5 sacks a game as a team. So until they sit DA, fire Crennel, Chud and and kick the butt of the conditioning coach (only legit reason for so many injuries the last 2 years), I have disowned the Browns. I would divorce any woman before I would give up my Brownies, but they have took this way too far this time. My pre 1999 Browns memorabilia is still in tact and hanging all over the house. My post 1999 memorabilia has just been taken outside and burned in the barrel. Blankets, jerseys, pictures, autographs, tickets (stubs) from 1999 till now, are all gone. I will never get rid of the old Browns stuff I grew up loving.
44 years since we have had any kind of winner in NE Ohio? Who is getting the short end of the stick here? The owners of any and all of the Cleveland franchises do give a damn about making us happy. It's a known fact the NE Ohio has the best and most dedicated fans in the entire country, but what do they do for us? NOTHING. Don't look for anything anytime soon either. The Indians are on their way farther down and the Cavs are lacking too much also. I guess I will have to start hitting the casinos during football season.
Sorry all, DA almost had 3,800 yards passing last year not 3,000. I'm not a typist. It was also Nick Skorich not Skorich's.
The entire city is in "attack" mode against this helpless, hapless team.
Don't Crennel and Savage realize the enormous momentum switch we'd have when they send Brady Quinn into the huddle? I honestly believe the noise would be deafening! We've waited so long for his chance. Don't think the fans won't be behind him on every play and bring a level of energy to the stadium and team that haven't been seen since its return in '99. I get chills thinking about it.
But, alas, RAC and Phil have put all their eggs in the dufus bag of D.A., and their stubborn refusal to play Brady will absolutely lead to their firings in a few weeks. Mark it down, boys.
