In order to avoid the tired device of a couple watching television, I went with the exhausted device of 2 guys in a bar.  Dean catches this in his comment below.  He's right.  A couple (preferably transgendered)  over lattes in Starbucks would have been a much better setting for this cartoon.

A Cleveland Clinic doctor induced a brain aneurysm in a dog for a medical sales demo.  The presentation was fatal to man's best friend. 

In addition to medicine shows, the highly self-regarded institution treats Cleveland Browns players, also known as "Dawgs" around here. The team is suffering a staph infection epidemic.

A year and a half ago Steven Chen and Chad Hurley used credit cards to launch their video site, YouTube. The site was soon hosting 100 million video clips. Chen and Hurley were concerned. With no advertising, the more viewers the site drew the more money they lost. (Forbes has the details here.)

No problem.  This week Google snapped up YouTube as part of its world take-over program.  The 20 something Chen and Hurley are now billionaires. (The Independent has a good account.)
