The "Cartoon Femists" is one of the worst works of Chip Bok. What a shame that the children of any political candiate "comes under the gun" ..this reminds me of the "School Yard Bully" who acted big and picked on the little kids. The children of Gov. Palin are not running for office…Once more the Beacon uses poor judgement in their decisions of what to print. This particular "Cartoon" was in poor taste and an embarassment to the readers.
Is Bok one of the Beacon employees to be "considered" when the Beacon begins to down-size ?
I don't see the cartoon as bringing children into it. I see it for what it says. The members of NOW are hypocrits.
Right on – At heart Feminists have a disdain for woman and children as they are desperately envious of males that they have become male imitators – and that is the source of the hypocrisy! GREAT COMMENTARY
They have zero sense of self-awareness.
This feminist cartoon was in very very poor taste. I don't know anyone who has not known some family, friend or neighbor's daughter who has had the same situation. You are a BOOR.
Judy Rousseau
I wish you women who consider yourselves feminists would stop being such knee-jerk autotrons or at least keep your mouths shut when you don't understand the point a cartoon is making. You make the rest of us look bad. This cartoon is not being critical of Palin's family. Can you really not see this? Amazing.
Mary Lou Cooper: How much further do you want the Beacon to downsize? You are "kidding", right?
