Police Shooting
Tuesday, July 15th, 2008In a Beacon Journal front page story 300 people protested the shooting death of Jeffery Stephens by Akron Police. In an adjacent story a crowd of about 1000 mourned another victim in an unrelated shooting, Twinsburg Police officer Joshua Miktarian.
Four More Tickets
Monday, July 14th, 2008State rep. John Widowfield may have scalped Ohio State football tickets. He bought them with campaign funds under a special allotment for state politicians. What does this say about ethics in ohio politics? According to state senator Kevin Coughlin,'If John Widowfield ruins this for policymakers, the courts will be the least of his concern."
