Get it up before we win??? Please! Your picture of Democrats beside themselves because they can't raise the white flag fast enough is a real disservice to struggling people trying to decide the right course in Iraq policy. No one is talking seriously about winning in Iraq, except maybe the insurgents. I appreciate that good hearted people may have differing opinions on staying or getting out of Iraq, but this cartoon is mean spirited and seems to imply that "we" or "the Iraq government" or "the Iraqi people" are on the verge of winning the war. Nothing could be farther from the truth, and a cartoon that implies that doesn't help the debate.
Great cartoon. Tells it like it is. Dem leaders are encouraging terrorists to kill more people so we will leave. Then Iran will take over Iraq and others.
Baghdad Bok and his loyal flying monkey Smitty makin' it just that much easier for the president to fall asleep each night.
Bok got this one at correct as anyone can.
Add one more flying monkey to the Republican guard.
I'll give you three guesses who Spartacus used to be. The first two guesses don't count.
Hey Mencken! How was your trip?
I can't believe that the Beacon would allow you to draw this cartoon. It is as close to the perfect truth as one can get about the current leadership of the Democratic Party. The only thing missing is the huge tax increases that they want for their continuing social engineering.
If we are losing, why does the enemy wants us to leave??

Hey Braniac, it's a war not a cookout. When does the "enemy" ever want occupying forces to stay in their country ?
Unless of course they're planning on enslaving them and using them to build pyramids.
"Hey Braniac, it's a war not a cookout. When does the "enemy" ever want occupying forces to stay in their country ? "
Their country? Does that include all the terrorists from Iran and Syria, Saudi Arabia etc?
Too bad you can't post without the personal insults.
71% of Iraqis consider the US "occupiers".
I just spoke with a Marine who just returned from duty in Iraq.
The long story short is that after the first vehicle in his convoy was hit with an IED, he went to help a severely wounded Marine. As he was attending to his buddy he noticed a group of Iraqi men and teenagers laughing, clapping, and pointing at the Marines. He didn't get their names and addresses.
In a war such as this, it really doesn't matter who or where your
enemy is from or what you call them.
"why do they want us leave". You tell me.
And I just talked to a marine who's been twice. He mostly talked about the good they've done, the appreciation of the people in outlying villages who now have water. We never get the whole story, obviously.
