Commander in Leak?
Posted April 13th, 2006 by Chip Bok
Can a president leak? It's a theological question. Aquinas tells us the very act of a presidential leak causes the substance of the leak to be declassified and therefore renders the act not to be a leak at all.
Bush released information that showed Joe Wilson, husband of secret agent woman, Valerie Plame, was telling lies about him. Dick Cheney's aid, Scooter Libby, leaked this information to Judith Miller of the New York Times. That enraged Wilson who then accused the administration of outing his wife. According to independent prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, that was a lie too. Amen.

Bok, that leak came from below the belt buckle, but that would
have required pixelization. Can't have that.

Everything I read says that the President declassified info which did not include Plame name.

The Plame story is just a sidebar and that has yet to be resolved.
That story is nowhere near over.
The real issue is the Bush Administration perpetuating known falsehoods about their justifications for invading Iraq, when their own intel told them they were false.

"The real issue is the Bush Administration perpetuating known falsehoods about their justifications for invading Iraq, when their own intel told them they were false."
I can only assume that you feel that if you keep saying it over and over, it will become the truth. Nobody lied. The world inteligence said WMD ws there. You can twist it around to anti Bush all you need to but that doesn't change the facts.
