Iran and the Easter Bunny
Posted April 14th, 2006 by Chip Bok
Reuters reports that Robert Mugabe, the nutjob leader of Zimbabwe, supports the nuclear program of his colleague, the nutjob president of Iran, Anybodywannajob.
President Ahmagonnajihad had this to say about Israel yesterday, "Like it or not, the Zionist regime is heading toward annihilation,"…"The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm."
Famed blog commenter, Auggie, has beaten me to the punch and provided this link to the story. Auggie's commenting nemesis, Mencken, ammusingly points out that when President Ahdjob nukes Israel his beloved Palestinian's "won't be able to safely move back to the homeland for about a thousand years".

I see Clippy the Clipper has had a busy night.
It will be interesting to see how Ahmadinejad plans to vaporize
Israel without taking his beloved Palestinians and the West Bank
with them. I hope someone tells him that the Palestinians won't be
able to safely move back to the homeland for about 1000 years.

Ah-jad doesn't care about the Palestinian people, and it's always been acceptable to sacrifice a few for the good of the many in the Islamist mindset. The Palestinians are merely a tool to wield against the Jew-haters. Once the Jews are gone, the Palestinians have lost their usefulness.

Hey Clippy, did you know that Andrew Breitbart left Drudge to develop Arianna Huffington's site ? Damn turncoat!

The reason they don't send donkeys to college is that no one likes a smart a–.
My name is Auggie and I am 72 years old and would appreciate less disrespect from you.
April 15th, 2006 at 4:12 pm
If no one liked smart asses, Bok would be out of a job.
Can't have that can we?
As for age, I'm old enough to get AARP mail at my house but young enough to still throw it in the trash. All 72 guarantees you
my fellow American, is sore knees and an aspirin a day.

Not surprised at your response.

Nor yours.

Iran elected to UN Disarmament Commission???

Well who better to have on a disarmament commission than Iran ? Would Jamaica have been a better choice ? How about Togo or Tuvalu ? The idea is to bring the players together, not the countries busy harvesting the pineapple crop.
Iran is part of the United Nations just as North Korea is. They have a right to participate in the process. It's called diplomacy.
If that doesn't work, massage the intel and blow some stuff up.
Don't worry Auggie, there's still time to clean your musket and reload while they're talking.

I don't call what the UN does a process. A process at some point comes to a conclusion.
April 16th, 2006 at 5:16 pm
Actually part of the definition of "process" is that it has an "outcome" which is not the same as a conclusion. Two nations
can argue their differences at the UN with the world as a witness.
I think that has value. At least the differences are on the record.
I may be a cynic and skeptic, but I believe communication and diplomacy is what separates us from the savages.

Hmm…I thought indoor plumbing and rule of law were what separated us from the savages.
Because I'm not old enough to receive AARP, I'd like to ask why it is that simply not dying entitles someone to respect? Isn't respect something you have to earn from others? No offense intended, Auggie. I'm sure you have many fine qualities worthy of respect. I'm just not so sure that living 72 years should be counted as one of those qualities.

I'd like to add the cordless screwdriver and propane grills to that list as well.

Where is Bok? Is he out looking for a job now that the Beacon Journal is on the block or back in the hurricane cleanup? I am glad to see Auggie and Menchen keeping the fires burning. ArmyWife, I hope all is well.
