Why is the media making such a big thing out of this?

I agree- unless they are being paid to write lies. From what I keep hearing, much of the news is positive, and progress is happening. Even one death is a horror, but the greater good is real.

I am outraged! Why, these conservatives have the gall to sully the noble mantle of the press in a manner unseen since, uh, Jayson Blair wrote for the NYT and, um, Dan Rather hosted Evening News.
