While Pakistanis were digging each other out after an earthquake that killed over 73,000 people, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, beheader and leader of al Qaeda in Iraq,  was busy killing Iraqi Muslims by suicide bombings.  Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden's fellow fiend, told him this was hurting the cause and then asked to borrow some money.

In the same intercepted letter, Zawahiri said he wanted Iraq to become the base of a new Islamic Caliphate covering the entire Middle East. The letter is reprinted here in the Weekly Standard.
