While Pakistanis were digging each other out after an earthquake that killed over 73,000 people, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, beheader and leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, was busy killing Iraqi Muslims by suicide bombings. Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden's fellow fiend, told him this was hurting the cause and then asked to borrow some money.
In the same intercepted letter, Zawahiri said he wanted Iraq to become the base of a new Islamic Caliphate covering the entire Middle East. The letter is reprinted here in the Weekly Standard.
Grandparents Rights
Wednesday, October 12th, 2005The Ohio Supreme Court ruled unanimously in favor of the grandparents in a child visitation rights case. The grandparents raised the child after the child's mother (their daughter) died of cancer. Eventually the father showed up and wanted the kid back. Janet Reno then sent in federal agents to snatch the child. Oh wait, wrong cartoon. If you want to read the story click here.
I drew this cartoon mainly because it gave me a chance to draw a lawyer and a wolf. I also wanted to draw canine dentures in a glass. Can you find the lawyer?
Pakistan Earthquake
Tuesday, October 11th, 2005Welcome to my new blog. It is called Bokbluster. My previous archive site is still available here. To see the full size version of the Bokbluster cartoon click the thumbnail.
An added menace to the new site is my ability to include written commentary. Even more menacing, you can throw in your 2 cents by clicking the "comments" link below. Cartoons can be searched by category from today's cartoon forward. There are close to 2000 cartoons in the old archive. Until the magic gnomes show up to move them, that's where they will stay.
