Tomorrow's BeckerHead Event

by The Reverend on August 27, 2010

in Barack Obama,conservatives,fearmongering,glenn beck,GOP,intolerance,media,moral values,sarah palin,tea parties

The AB Journal loves themselves some Tea Party…..so they decided, once again, to give front page coverage to the mostly affluent, mostly white, mostly middle-aged, mostly male, and entirely sore loser group.

Glenn Beck and the Tea Partiers. Together in front of the Lincoln Memorial on the anniversary date and location of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech.

Just think. A group of angry, white, anti-Obama conservatives……. are going to join the deviant Fox lunatic, Beck….and the feisty opportunist who started all of the new-and-enhanced hate in 2008, Sister Sarah…..on the anniversary date and location of MLK's historic speech about equality…..to…wait for it…."reclaim the civil rights movement."

Ever watch a dog take a sh*t on the same spot another dog has been?

Glenn Beck and Sister Sarah are the leaders of a collective sh*t taking tomorrow. On the memory of MLK.

So hateful and devious are these two wingnut-celebrity ignoramuses, that they are relishing with delight their own taunting of peace-and-equality-loving Americans everywhere by taking a Tea Party sh*t on the very spot where MLK spoke of a more equal, just and fair America.

We are being told that the timing of the Glenn Beck and the Tea Partiers cynical gathering is entirely coincidental. And I'm the Christ back from the dead.

I'm not quite sure yet whether we have reached peak wingnut, but we're getting closer.

Mr. Beck, a man whom Media Matters calls the most dangerous man in America today, says the event tomorrow is "not about politics."

I guess the memo didn't get circulated…..

The Portage County Tea Party said Thursday it was sending 275 people to the event aboard five buses.

Tom Zawistowski, the group's executive director, said the demand for seats was overwhelming.

He predicted heavy participation from Northeast Ohioans making the drive to Washington, and said in a written statement that "the American people will demonstrate by the size of the turnout that, collectively, we have had enough of corrupt and ineffective government and we intend to do something about it come November."

Beck, however, told his television audience Thursday that the event is not about politics.

Seems a bit dazed and confused, doesn't it? Makes you wonder whether there may be some hooch in that Tea.

Just standard operating procedure for the astroturf Tea Party movement. Over a year ago I blogged that the TP movement was incoherent….and nothing has changed since then. The TP'ers, as is true with BeckerHeads, are a group of white men who are afraid that a black president will give a bunch of free stuff to darker skinned Americans. Stuff that they won't get. Worse yet, stuff they have to pay for.

That explains why Beck proudly called Obama a "racist" who "hates white culture". That's why so many race-hate signs and race-baiting anecdotes flowed out of the Tea Party gatherings.

When the steel that reinforces the spine of a sore loser movement like the Beck-led Tea Partiers consists mostly of racial animosity….then it's understandable why the intent of tomorrow's rally must be blurred, made confusing. Openly calling blacks, n****rs, is no longer acceptable…as Dr. Laura found out…..so the Tea Partiers and their lead dogs, Glenny and Sarah, won't go there.

Where they will go is to the very spot where the American man who most closely followed the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, Martin Luther King Jr., gave his triumphant and hope-inspiring "I Have a Dream" speech.

They will go there along with their band of intolerant, spoiled, sore losing, Republican-voting, conservatives……and they will all…metaphorically….take a sh*t on the legacy and life's work of MLK.

That's how cynical and hate-filled Sarah and Glenny are.

Now for the typical disclaimer. These nuts have every right to do what they plan to do tomorrow in D.C. This is America, and contrary to what the Tea Partiers tell us about Ground Zero mosques, we all enjoy guaranteed equal rights……well…..except for gays….and even that's changing.

I would never try to prevent the guaranteed rights of Americans from being exercised.

What I will do, however, is point out where flea-riddled, mangy and sour-dispositioned political lead-dogs will be leading their pack of white mongrels tomorrow……..to take a collective dump on the memory and work of Martin Luther King Jr.

Hope those mutts are proud of themselves.

  • Da King

Reverend, you are a hatemonger, pure and simple. It drips from practically every absurd sentence you write.

  • Da King

But go ahead and keep talking like you do. I love it when loony lefties out themselves for the nutbags they are.

  • larry d.

I used to think the hatemongering was only because the Reverend was so bitter about Bush being president. But then Obama won the election and it got a little worse. Now it's getting even worse since Obama has proven to be an abject failure. Maybe it's not politics so much as a tumor or something.

  • averagejoe5

Why do you hate so much Rev. From the sound of you post it's like you hate Beck because he is like all the other middle aged white people. Why don't you call him a "cracker"? That is a racist statement…Do WOWD (do what Obama would do)
If you step back and look at what the Communist wannabes are doing you would see that it isn't working. Some of the things they are doing are traitorous, especially when it comes to foreign policy. They have run up more debt than any other admin in less than 2 years and have made enenies of the only entities that can get us out of our predicament, industry and producing things.
Also about this: "black president will give a bunch of free stuff to darker skinned Americans." The stuff isn't free. And you're right whites do pay for the bulk of it with money they worked hard for. And whites get very little ROI on their investment. They can't even keep the social security system solvent for the people that worked their entire lives to pay for the "colored folks", as you call them, that truly do get the benefit and don't appreciate it and actually want more. Can you blame the taxpayers (White and blacks that are working are complaining) for getting pissed when they are being taxed or fee'd (as they like to describe it) andthe govt wants more and are spending it the way we don't want it spent or giving it to special interests that don't deserve it while they are losing their homes and businesses and going into unbearable debt to educate their kids and a myriad of other bunk. This is where our govt, especially Obama and congress are the ones Sh*ting on the people.

Also Jesus wasn't a communist. The way Al Sharpton described MLK's true meaning and intent of his "great speech", is to create a comunist society. ( I hope that isn't true. We know how Sharpton says stuff to keep his people in shackles.

This get together by the people and for the people is exactly what we need to get all of washingtons attention, and I personally think that MLK would be happy that this gathering was happening. Doing it on his day is a tribute to what King has done to make our country a better place.

King didn't hate whites. He wanted to include them(especially the women)

  • larry d.

I think people are making a legitimate point, Reverend. This post just drips with anger, fear, and resentment.

  • 2012

Rev. Your stupidity amazes me every day!!! I see who's in office and see the shape of our country and it all comes together!!! Amazing!!! Thanks for showing us a true example of the stupidity of our current leaders and leaders of the past!!! We see clearly now!!! Thanks again!!! I also see your too stupid to go and see who is at a Tea Party!!! You ignorance is laughable!!! Thanks I needed a good laugh!!!

  • Andrea

I had the misfortune today to be stuck in a room with Glen Beck on the TV – he was talking religion – lots of Jesus stuff.
His rally is to restore the honor – of what ? Worshiping guns and taking away religious freedoms for anyone other than Christians. Or getting rid of a President because he is black and they believe he is a Muslim.
Poor downtrodden white males ……. they been so persecuted oppressed, We need a rally for them.
    puke

  • {SS} Buoy

    I agree Andrea.

  • averagejoe5

TBomb – come on, does that even matter? Polluters? Big deal…

Andrea – Obviously you didn't even listen to what Beck said nor have you ever listened because what you said in your post is so far off it's almost as if you are just making stuff up because you heard what others said about Beck and you didn't lke it. It's about restoring the honor of America the country you dissatisfied, life hating, godless libs love to hate.

It isn't about down trodden white people, even though racists like yourself and Rev want it to be, it is about downtrodden Americans and their corrupt govt.

  • {SS} Buoy

Let's go to the Glenn Beck Rally!

What do we find on the National Mall?

A fat, white man in an Uncle Sam costume

An elderly housewife with the empty nest and the dyed hair, screaming incoherently.

A guy wearing a shirt that says, "Go Back to Kenya"

The media who will pay more attention to this single rally than to all of the left-wing rallies of all time, combined.

A disability check from the government, that will be funding a trip to protest against taxes, even though my recipients haven't paid any taxes in decades.
A sign screaming: "Obama is a Socilist", again.

The Koch brothers. They paid for the rally.

About 286 "Don't Tread on Me " flags that were made in Thailand.

A reinforced Rascal scooter. Medicaid paid for me and my seat smells like sulfur farts.

Look, there's Alveda King hoping all gays will die! Soon!

A six year old holding a sign his Mom made. It says "give me back my country." I don't know what's going on, but it's fun staying at the Motel 6. They have a pool. And ice!

We see an Army jacket picked up at a surplus store and worn by an old guy who got out of Vietnam by having his brother run over his foot with a Ford Falcon.

We see the US Constitution, that may spontaneously combust.

We see a flash mob of black kids on the blue line, claiming it's really the green line.

There's Sarah Palin, the God fearing, gun toting, gay hating, American Patriot.

There's the bus driver, who is black, who had to listen to all of the racist rants and chants about the African in the White House all the way from Akron, Ohio to the Motel 6 in Alexandria, Haig-Virginia.

Look, it's an innocent bystander wondering why "big government" was OK when it was white Republicans telling you who you could have sex with and when you could use birth control … but let a black guy into the White House and IT'S ON!

Over there we see BP drilling for oil in the reflecting pool.

And yet another 35 year old recovering alcoholic in a torn US Flag adorned wheel chair the gov'mint bought him after a 3 day binge caused him to wreck his car and kill his girlfriend passenger.

And look over here- Glenn Becks prescription for bi-polar psychosis that he will forget to take one day while he has a breakdown in front of the camera.

I hope they all get swallowed up by some sink hole.

  • {SS} Buoy

It's election time, larry d. The incumbents made him say it.

  • The Reverend

Christ….now it's a tumor, according to Dr. larry.

Conservatives and I are NEVER going to agree on the violence inciter, Glenn Beck.

I'm sorry if some conservatives have been hoodwinked by Mr. Beck. I've been warning not only about Beck, but Sister Sarah as well…..for a long time.

The Tea Parties are an astroturf fraud financed and organized by guys like Dick Armey, the Koch Bros. The Tea Party members consist of ex-Palin campaign attendees who still hate the fact that a black man can be elected in America to the presidency. The Tea Partiers "cover" for their intolerant hate is their fig leaf bitching about government spending and deficits…..a fact that the nation has lived with fine during 20 of the last 28 years when GOP administrations ran up huge deficits.

But for the Tea Partiers to join with Glenn Beck on the Lincoln site where MLK gave his I Have a Dream speech, on the very anniversary date of that speech…..to "reclaim the civil rights movement"…..is proof positive that the Tea Partiers are a bunch of intolerant and cynical haters of all things un-white.

No tumor, no hatemongering on my part…..just the truth.

Just think….I had been thinking for a bit that the Islamic Center "debate" was the all time low point for conservatives…..you know, proving that they are really anti-American when it comes to rights for all. But no…..this BeckerHead Event is even worse. It combines the worst of the right's historic intolerance towards the 'other' with the worst that today's cyncial, opportunistic, right wing media scum have to offer.

Americans participating in Beck's hate fest should be totally ashamed of themselves…..for a whole bunch of reasons.

  • averagejoe5

Ahhh another miserable hatefilled liberal racist that doesn't even understand that the reason the TEA Party exists. The TEA's are nothing more than a group that doesn't want to pay more taxes that our govt is wasting and unfairly distributing worldwide. THey want to create jobs and work instead of lining off the future well-being of our kids. They don't want to pass on an unbearable future debt to our children. The selfish self centered liberal communist propaganda machine wants to ruin our childrens future buy living lavishly today and saying eff tomorrow. Did you know that you can pay extra taxes if you enjoy paying more taxes? You can donate your tax return to the govt. You area allowed to do that. This way the TEA party members can stop being robbed by the communists. (Which is what the libs are doing in reality)
TEA members want the excess taxation to stop and the govt to become responsible in it's spending, is that bad? Of course liberals are generally far less responsible than conservatives, that is why they can't maintain a lib radio station, they don't pay their bills. Just ask the radio stations that supported Air America. Their supporters as most libs refused to support them with donations because they are selfish like that. Compare Biden's and Cheney's charitable contribution %'s.
THe sad thing is that the lib/communists have divided this country by falsely making this movement out to be a racial thing. And their lemming constitueints are following lock step and do exactly as they are told. What is sadder that their followers have swallowed the lies hook line and sinker and they can't think for themselves, which would be dangerous to the mission.

American freedom is setting a new course today a path to renewed freedom and a renewed spirit of pride in America. Of course it will be a little marred by Al Sharpton and his legion of misguided dimwits. But I say pray for those that are brave enough to go to Washington and take a stand for freedom and wanting to make govt responsible for itself and to save our kids from a future of poverty.

  • The Reverend

Taxes haven't been as low as they are right now….in 60 years.

I know the GOP still says otherwise…..but it's a lie.

America has lived with higher deficits in the past….and we came out just fine.

The only reason there is so much noise right now about deficits and debt is because Democrats are in power.

Cheney said "deficits don't matter, Reagan proved that."

Why do they matter now? Democrats are in power.

On the racial stuff…..who made the Hitler signs? the Obama pancake mix?, the witchdoctor photoshop? Who said America has to bend over and grab their ankles because Obama's father was black? Who played Barack the Magic Negro? Who said Obama was racist? Who said Obama is not part of Real America?

    Clue: It wasn't progressives.

  • Da King

Wow. Obama is now endorsing the policies of that other guy ? What was his name ? Oh yeah…BUSH.

This may cause the Reverend's final meltdown.

  • Da King

Such tolerance from the "non-hating" left. Warms my heart.

  • Da King

Speaking of inciting violence, Freedomworks is getting dozens of death threats daily from you "reasonable" and "tolerant" "non-hating" lefties.

Are you going to blast left-wingers such as yourself for inciting violence ????????????????????

    http://politics.usnews.com/news/blogs/washington-whispers/2010/08/25/tea-party-group-hit-with-death-threats

  • http://www.cleveland.com bzzzzp

I love when nonsense gets repeated over and over. Even in the public schools we learned that it is Congress that spends money.

Reagan did not run up the deficit, a Democratic congress did.

Clinton did not balance the budget or give us a surplus, a Republican congress did. (And we have to opportunity to make the author our next Governor, John Kasich)

Too much money was spent during the Bush administration, but it didn't really get out of hand until the Democrats took control of congress in 2006.

The top federal tax bracket 1980 was 70%, that certainly was not 60 years ago.

It is different when you run a deficit for a good reason, i.e. World War 2. What we have now is pork and special interest bribes. The government is blowing our collective paycheck on a two year drinking binge. The money will not be available when it is needed.

You didn't see the Bush hitler signs? I find that hard to believe.

The phrase Barack the Magic Negro was absolutely coined by a progressive.

Don't try to give us a clue, you seem to be running short of them.

  • {SS} Buoy

Your sappy, tired, and old argument is pathetic. How many Tenthers and Right-Wing Dominion Nutbags and Birthers and professional instigators have infiltrated your TEA parties and have caused the shift away from "higher taxes"? How many people are NRA members?

What happened to the grass roots efforts of the original Tea Partiers?

The AirAmerica had talent on the air but had no business genius in the front office.

  • Da King

Taxes were lower last year than they are this year, so technically speaking, taxes haven't been as low as they are right now in ONE year, not sixty. Plus, the country is 246 years old, so we're still in a relatively high tax period, historically speaking.

But what the Tea Party really wants is a stop to all the insane federal spending, deficits, debt accumulation, bailouts of the rich and powerful, government takeovers, and the requisite massive tax increases that must follow such a course. The TEA acronym means Taxed Enough Already. We are taxed enough already.

Thanks to bzzzzp for shooting down the rest of the Reverend's one-eye-blind crapola. You saved me the effort.

  • Da King

Make that – the country is 234 years old, not 246.

  • Jacquie

    http://taxprof.typepad.com/taxprof_blog/2004/09/red_states_feed.html

Them libs sure is irresponsible. Paying so much more than cons in taxes. And taking less federal tax dollars than cons. Shame on them.

  • {SS} Buoy

Just as I thought. Today's rally looked like white trash at a tractor pull.

  • angry conserv

"flea riddled……..white mongrels" Very good Rev and I thought you had run out of new insults. Anyone that has read a few of your rants understands that those that do not share your view of the world are stupid and/or bigots. I continue to read them understanding the fact that you assume your views are the only acceptable view therefore there is no reason to define or defend your views but in the best liberal tradition of tolerance and compassion you demean others in order to awaken us from our destuctive beliefs.
Thank you for caring about us

  • averagejoe5

Why were you there Bouy? You aren't going to say anything about the folks of color how about the gays that were there or were they sellouts by your lib/communist backward racist thinking? I bet you didn't even watch any of it? You libs are such racists. Even CNN tried to put a little negative spin on it but they couldn't. Sad
At least there were no muggings or flag burnings or people throwing pee or dangerous chemicals on each other like most Dem rallies.

  • angry conserv

P.s. Before you use Barack The Magic Negro as an example get your facts straight. As difficult as it may be for you to understand some of us deal in facts.

  • Andrea

Gee average joe 5 you say It's about restoring the honor of America the country "
I guess he fooled some .
Seems to me him and Sarah Palin and many of the tea party members spend alot of time trashing our President with very hateful remarks. Making him seem radical when he hardly is. Accusing him of being a racist . Reality is he hasn't done anything that radical – Bush put in a prescription drug plan – Obama did health care reform similar to Mick Romney's but only Obama is a socialist communist.
Using fear and bigotry to divide us, he and Palin give a wink to act like they are for all Americans — Sure – his show focus on one group of Americans and they are White Christians .
They smile they pretend , they will say they are not racists
but how dare he act like somehow he helped racial tensions and that he is somehow for civil rights. Even if if he is not a racist, and I got him pegged wrong he trying to appeal to those that are. And you can bet many at the rally are. And he loves it!

  • larry d.

It's good to get it off your chest, lefties. Losing the national debate is difficult but look on the bright side–you folks are pretty miserable no matter what.

  • averagejoe5

You are so right Larry. So miserable……and to top it off misguided!

  • Jacquie

Another daily diagnosis from Dr. Larry!

  • averagejoe5

Beck and Palin are really twisting you guys up. This rally was non-poliitical in nature and more of a motivational speech. Then you have the black mans worst enemy and slave keeper Al Sharpton on the other side block spewing his hatred and venom and keeping his people down as the victim, just so he can keep his job. If the Sharpton victims would have walk an extra 100 yards they would have found true freedom and would have been welcome with open arms. I was listening to WTAM this afternoon and some black people called in and even said that they thought it was a very inspiring presentation. Could this be a time of revival in the spirit of America. It's time to make our politicians realize the AMerican public means business and we will vote them out.

  • Andrea

What you guys seem to be absolutely blind to is he using religion. Using it to promote his libertarian ideas which absolutely contradict religious teachings. I havent found any religion which agrees with the main premise of the tea party movement .
The Libertarian preference for the strong over the weak is un-Christian. "Leave me alone to make my own choices and spend my own money" is not what religious teaching teach. tell me a single religion that the philosophy is so ?
Religious teachings are not anti government .
Private charity is simply not enough to satisfy the demands of fairness or equality let alone compassion that is what I know my religious teachings taught me. For anyone who calls themselves a religious person to believe this farce is fooling only themselves. Thats what so wrong with him and palin their use of religion to promote un religious ways. Twisted logic
Freedom of religion is to allow all religions the same right – and every Muslim in America

  • averagejoe5

Andrea you are spinning your wheels because you aren't listening to what he and the others are saying. He isn't using religion. He isn't promoting the strong over the weak. He is promoting freedom which is what our forefathers intended He is calling for the American Govt to be responsible to the people and not the special interests. I love how the lib bloggers are already trying to tear down and dicredit some of the things Beck et al said yesterday. He even gave major props to MLK imagine that!

"Leave me alone to make my own choices and spend my own money" is not what religious teaching teach. tell me a single religion that the philosophy is so ?"
All religions teach that we will always have the poor and down trodden, we are to help them. We have always done that and Beck never disputes that and says we shouldn't. (We never helped them to the point to where their benefits are equal to or greater than some of our lower middle class, and we shouldn't, it is bad for them. He says to lift them up and to "teach them to fish" as do all conservatives. It is not good to give a guy a free meal all the time it makes them lazy and causes them to become addicted to others doing for them. All religions teach that if you do not work, you do not eat. In other words help out with the big picture, not sit around waiting for the next time the welfare card is filled or staying on unemployment for 2 years. Judeo-Christian teachings say to work hard and make money to give to the next generation and leaving your children debt is a crime and a horrible thing to do. Is that the relgion the left follows? No, they say to Folly today and leave their children to suffer tomorrow? Apparently is. It isnt' just Dems that believe that one, it is many conservatives also. Our values have gone to sh*t in this area.

Beck invited Muslim Americans and all people of color to join them yesterday. He isn't against muslim Americans. He is against the terrorists. They just think American muslims should show some compassion and not build that mosque near GZ in NYC. They are over that. Also this mosque is becoming a sham. The guy wanting to build it has no where near the money to do it and the govt wont let him take money from froeign enemies ie Iran to build it and the American muslims aren't supporting it financially. Was this another ruse to prove how racist of a country we are?

But from reading the lies being spewed by the racist, godless, american hating backward thinking bloggers, I know the libs will go ahead and bathe in their lies and their fiction and twist the story.
    It's expected.LOL

  • {SS} Buoy

All of two gay people show up and they represent the community?

Are they a Mehlmann gay? You know the type. They get presidents elected by using gay marriage as a fear tactic.

There aren't racists in the Gay Community? Of course there is.

Other than Alveda King, how many black people were in attendance?

I bet Alveda doesn't even know that the Mormon church thinks all black people are Satan's children.

  • The Reverend

My buddy angry took offense at this….

"What I will do, however, is point out where flea-riddled, mangy and sour-dispositioned political lead-dogs will be leading their pack of white mongrels tomorrow……..to take a collective dump on the memory and work of Martin Luther King Jr.

Hope those mutts are proud of themselves."

It's called hyperbole, angry. In this case, my own brand of metaphorical hyperbole…..where I purposely mock what is obviously, insanity. If it's good enough for Glenny, you know, "reclaiming the civil rights movement"…then it's good enough for me.

I don't like to pick on the people, whether they are conservative or liberal…..and I'm sorry I had to resort to doing so in this post. It's those in power who deserve the mockery. But in this case, a group of American whites, who should know better, are following the lead of two of the most insane-acting, historically ignorant, charlatan opportunists in recent memory.

This group of American whites……who admire Palin and Beck for their feisty, f*ck you attitude…..were willing to go to D.C. and participate in the "f*ck MLK, Obama and the Democrats" rally. Palin, to take just one example, supported Dr. Laura's loose use of the N word and Beck tagged Obama a racist who hates white culture, white people. Yet, yesterday's group of white protesters pretended to be honoring MLK's legacy. What a crock.

Consider: The TP's are still incoherent. Beck played his god card, "restoring honor" (Jesus), a token tribute video to MLK was played, they were raising money for service people, and the people were protesting the Obama government by attending.

Babylon. They have no focal point theme….except for…..they don't want Obama as president. It's 1994 all over again…..and I can't wait for the Super-Patriots, Palin and Beck, to weigh in on the dozens of investigations and the impeachment proceedings of Barack Obama. It will all be just so great…..and the one thing you can be sure of…..while it's all going on, you know, like some canine clusterf*ck……Glenn and Sarah will be "restoring honor."

    Spare me the supercillious bullsh*t.

  • {SS} Buoy

Average Joe is a loon. He finally found someone on TV who can use euphenisms for the N word and get away with it. Hitler rose to power by using Jew as a word to mean monster, thief, soul suckers, panderers, defilers of children, the devil himself.

But, your user name says it all: "average joe". You are just that: Average.
    Not intelligent, just average.

  • Da King

Picking on the poor now, Jacquie ? Classy.

  • Da King

Always good to know who the racists really are.

  • Da King

You just proved you didn't watch the Beck rally. There were black people all over the stage.

  • Da King

I know, Andrea. What's radical about Obama's trillion+ dollar deficits, $800 billion bailouts, government mandated health care, a hundred new government health care agencies, bailing out GM and having the government and unions own it, cap-and-trade legislation that will skyrocket electricity prices, $9 trillion in projected debt, 2300-pages of financial regulation, suing a state for trying to enforce it's borders, an unprecedened expansion of the Federal Reserve……

If Obama isn't radical, the word has no meaning.

  • Da King

I see Professor Andrea has no clue what libertarianism is about either. "the strong over the weak." WRONG ! It's just the opposite. It's about individual liberty for all. It's about the individual rights of the weak trumping even the government, which is the strong. Go learn something.

And Muslims practice their religion freely in America, in case you don't know that either.

  • Da King

Like I said, Reverend, you are a hatemonger, pure and simple. Thanks for reinforcing the point with another blast of hate.

  • Da King

Ooh, I love the Beck-Hitler comparison. Only really rational people make those comparisons. Not loony at all.

  • Da King

Total liberal breakdown on this thread. Really ugly.

  • larry d.

You tell us, Boy. How many?

  • larry d.

They have become unhinged. The big lefty sites don't know exactly what to make of the event and haven't come up with any canned talking points yet, so the lemmings are left to their own devices. Unfortunately, that means the chronic unhappiness that underpins their political beliefs comes bubbling to the top.

  • averagejoe5

Bouy – Yeah listening to a bunch of liars making false accusations and venomous statements about regular US citizens makes me a loon. It's time for you to open your eyes and look in the mirror and look at who is influencing your life and decisions. Misery loves company and that is what they look for…miserable people that are malcontent. Look at the bulls**t that you wrote in that last statement, that cries out for despiration and grasping for something…anything to throw back.

Look at history…Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Lenin all rose to power doing the exact thing Obama and this congress is doing right now.

Rev…come on seriously? "This group of American whites……who admire Palin and Beck for their feisty, f*ck you attitude…..were willing to go to D.C. and participate in the "f*ck MLK, Obama and the Democrats" rally. Palin, to take just one example, supported Dr. Laura's loose use of the N word and Beck tagged Obama a racist who hates white culture, white people. Yet, yesterday's group of white protesters pretended to be honoring MLK's legacy. What a crock"

When was this promoted as a protest? It was a rally in Washington? Libs protest because that is negative. This was a show of unity. There were no fire bombs or people throwing urine on each other. If you look at the legislation they are passing and actually it is Obama and Congress that are saying F*** you to the people. We are going to do what we feel is best for you whether it is or whether you like it or not.

I didn't hear the story about Palin and the N word. However, Obama is a racist who hates not just white culture but freedom the American way. He said it in his speeches and in his books and in his response to certain events in the news. You are wrong when you say that they didn't honor MLK yesterday and lying when you make accusations that this was a racially driven rally against people of color, maybe in Lib Land but not the heartland. This from yesterday: MLKs lawyer and speech writer: "Clarence B. Jones, who served as King’s personal attorney and his speechwriter, said he believes King would not be offended by Beck’s rally but “pleased and honored” that a diverse group of people would come together, almost five decade later, to discuss the future of America." He is one that gets it. Blacks are advancing only as far as their leaders allow them to advance.

Did you hear Sharptons comments…this man should be exposed and rejected by his lemmings who don't even realize what he is doing to them.

Rev…you were a Reverend at one time, You obviously studied religion. I studied for the ministry for a while. What if this is a revival? There have been many. You know that it only takes a spark and the rest will happen whether we want it to or not. It doesn't mean that Beck and Palin will be the leaders afterall Jesus had John the Baptist.

  • The Reverend

That's what the charlatan Beck wants you to think, average. He wants you to think that he is leading some Christian nationalist revival. Tell me this….do you remember the video I put up with Beck crying on cue when he didn't think he was being taped? That's who you're dealing with….a complete fraud.

In addition to the acting…..Beck has a hitch in his brain because of his Mormon influences…..you know about that stuff, right?

But what's even wose is that Beck is a megalomaniac…..he is suffering from delusions of messianic grandeur….he is mentally ill. Fox was the perfect spot for Beck's sickness to blossom into the cancer it is today. Beck Barnum and Baileys our asses every day with patriotic sounding generalities of nonsense. It's all a circus. Restoring honor…..I mean what the hell does that mean? Whatever anybody wants it to mean.

larry …."the chronic unhappiness that underpins their political beliefs comes bubbling to the top"

I see this type of language from other conservatives who have nothing left to offer but drowning the government in bathtubs….and oh yeah,…tax cuts. Human progress, social progress, national progress cannot continue if citizens are completely satisfied with the status quo. If you are white, rich, male and privileged, then the only progress you would want is more tax cutting. It all makes sense….if you are part of the top 5%.

And that's who Beck and Palin were stumping for yesterday….that top 5%. They're in that top 5%…..and what they really want is those Bush tax cuts to be made permanent. That's how shallow and miserable these folks are.

What happened in D.C. yesterday is a national embarassment. Political entertainers successfully hoodwinked thousands of confused malcontents to come out to the Mall to help Beck and Palin keep those Bush tax cuts from expiring.

I'm sure all attendees are just so proud.

  • {SS} Buoy

I don't recall saying I watched the rally. But, do tell about all the paid, bribed or compensated black people on the stage.

  • {SS} Buoy

What National Debate, Larry? You mean the debate concerning Obama's birth place?

  • {SS} Buoy

How many death threats does Obama get every day?

  • Tbomb
  • Andrea

All the fake concern over Obama's deficit when Bush ran up one – on war – Obama deficit helped our economy will produce jobs and will give many Americans health care.
But the tax cuts for the top 2% somehow you ignore as spending.
Buoy – I just read your posts – you are right on.
I am totally convinced Beck and Palin maneuvered them like snake oil salesmen to sell these people the idea that the magical cure for the country is less government – while these people will loose social security, health care unemployment insurance and other things that help middle class and more money will go in the pocket of the rich. He is a fraud , she is a fraud and they are taking their money to the bank.

  • Da King

Buoy says the people who showed up at the Beck rally were white trailer trash. Reverend says they were people looking to help the wealthiest 5%. I've been hearing this same paradox from the liberal media since the Tea Party rallies started. Whatever sh*t the left can throw at the fan and hopes will stick.

Or, the left is correct….poor white trailer trash care very much about helping the fat cats, lol.

And while we're on the subject of delusions of messianic grandeur…………hello ??? Ever heard about that guy living in the White House, Barack "we are the ones we've been waiting for" Obama, the guy RUNNING THE COUNTRY ? The media even called him the Messiah, the One, etc. The Reverend was a disciple of that false prophet, though now the Rev and the rest of the leftist lemmings are a bit put off that the Messiah hasn't transformed America into a full-blown socialist republic as quickly as they would have liked.

  • Da King

Andrea, the human talking point, and the human contradiction. Under Bush, deficits were bad. Under Obama, deficits 400% larger are good, says Andrea.

    [Pounding.head.against.wall.]

And I loved the part about how Obama's deficits are going to "give many Americans health care," as if Obama is the tooth fairy. Oy-freaking-vey.

  • The Reverend

The Obama deficits were caused by the financial mess left after Bush and Cheney got done wrecking the place.

The choice Obama had was: A Depression, or deficit spending.

Bush never faced the threat of a Depression until Oct of his last year of office. Until then, all Bush did was oversee willful deficit spending…..not forced, or emergency deficit spending.

The health refrom package is fully paid for and lowers the debt long term….unless the CBO is filled with commies.

  • averagejoe5

Do you mean that mess that Nancy and Harry created to make sure Obama won the election. The health care reform is paid for on paper as long as people can afford it. If unemployment increases and wages continue to fall what will happen?

Seriously though. It seems as thought the Beck rally was a success! Even some of the newspapers that were putting him down have retracted their statements and said what a great event it was. Did you know there were infiltrators there trying to stir up some crap and the way they were handled was the people in the audience surrounded them and began videotaping them. LMAO THey backed right down. The Washington newspapers even sadi how polite and kind the ralliers were and how they cleaned up after themselves. THey even complimented Beck on his speech and loa dn behold the biggest rounds of applause were for a MLK presentation and Alveda King. See MLK, like Lincoln believed all men were created equal. Not that black people deserved more or less than whites. MLK was a Republican and would be a TEA Party member today.

Seems a good dose of patriotism and a rally for freedom makes the sun a little brighter, the sky a little bluer and the grass greener. Rev this is the beginning of a revival of America and the taking back of the f ups of the last 50 years. Watch how many people get voted out of office this year. I heard on the radio last night how the Reps dont like the way the TEAs are taking them. They don't get it either. The TEAs dont support their antics either dumbasses.

  • larry d.

If Obama's only choices were a Depression and deficit spending, why'd he have to choose both?

  • The Reverend

Just get back from the soup lines, did ya'?

Charlie should stick to sports. He is a tremendously talented writer who cannot hide his contempt for those that hold differing views. I cannot even read his sports pieces anymore as I cannot banish from my mind the fact that he holds me and my opinions in outer contempt. He may not hate me but, he does think I am a piece of shit.

So close to being a major talent I actually feel sorry for him and us in a perverse way. If you believe in G#d and being a Patriot, you are intellectually lazy and part of the problem.
Seriously Charlie-you quoted "Media Matters" you are so insulated, you are typing with mittens.

  • The Reverend

Media Matters posts video clips of conservatives and Republicans speaking in their own words and with their own mouths.

I can see how uber-patriots would consider recording, you know, reality, as being "insulated."

    And…who's this Charlie guy?

  • The Reverend

Don't forget…..no one is hungry in America….you said as much.

  • larry d.

Kind of like the ACORN, Shirley Sherrod and New Black Panther videos, eh?

  • jashley

I didn't know it was possible to be dumber than dumb king but you have accomplished it.

You need to quit seeing commies under every bed. Try looking up communist, you'll see what I mean. Does the name Joesph McCarthy mean anything to you?

You can get a free copy of the US Constitution, just go to the website for congress. Read it, it may help.

2012 you found the eclamation point key. Did you thing that the problems left by the worst president in history were going to be fixed in 18 months.

750,000 a month losing their jobs.
Dollar went from $.83 to 1 euro to $1.49 per euro from 2001-2008. (How'd you like those 50 cent dollars you had saved????)
Projected deficit for 2009 (in 2008) 1.6 Trillion to 1.9 Trillion (not counting the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afg. which was "off the books", the costs have been moved back on the books by Pres. Obama, accounting for a large accounting hit that should have been on Jr's books, whose the liar).
2 of our top 5 employers (GM and Chrysler) within days of going out of existence.
    DOW under 7000.
Home values in some areas at 50% of former value.
    Credit Markets close to collapse.
American prestige at an all time low.
President had a 23% approval rating.
6 record setting deficits in 8 years.
It took five days to get the first water and food to an American city after a natural disaster.

    Should I go on.

Guess who was president when the above was happening. And you wonder why people make fun of the teaparty when they advocate going back to the policies that caused the above situation. I would be more worried about our country if the people in the teaparty weren't made fun of. I have seen teaparties and if you can't smell the racism I feel sorry for your nose. No I'm not saying everyone there is racist but there is a healthy dose of it.

Yes 2012 the stupidity of the teaparty is amazing.

    bzzzp,

i don't know what shcool you went to but they lied to you.

The executive branch, the cabinet, writes the budget and proposes tax policy. Congress amends and approves it and the President has the right to veto it. The congress changed Pres. Reagan's budgets by less than 2% over his entire term, one year they cut it by 6%. The national debt went from 800 billion to 3 Trillion under Reagan. Maybe his astrologer told him to do it???? It was congress's fault is a lie that Rep. have been trying to push for years to cover up the incompetence of Ronnie. By the way, Ronnie cut taxes once, he then realized how badly he srcewed up and raised them 6 times; too late two recessions in his term and one he left for HW Bush.

Pres. Bush had 6 record setting deficits. A democratic congress for 2. Could you tell me again how it was the democrat's fault?

Great job Ronnie, uh maybe not. If this state is dumb enough to elect Kasich again we deserve what we get.

    Peace

  • jashley

You mean the ACORN who has never been charged with a crime and not the conservatives who edited a video to try to smear them and WERE convicted of a crime for doing it.

You mean the Shirley Sherrod who Fox news HAS ADMITTED to unfairly editing her remarks.

You mean the 3 yea count them 3 "New Black Panthers" standing near a polling place.

    Pathetic, eh?

  • Da King

Rev says, "The Obama deficits were caused by the financial mess left after Bush and Cheney got done wrecking the place."

I love liberal talking points, and I've sure heard this one a lot. Quite amusing.

    One question…

What Bush/Cheney policy "wrecked the place" and caused the financial mess ? Have you come up with one yet ?

  • Da King

Media Matters is a bunch of spin artists who only tell the part of the story that fits the liberal agenda.

  • Da King

Many ACORN employees have been convicted of crimes.

Fox News didn't unfairly edit anything about Sherrod.

And you are FOR voter intimidation too ?

    A trifecta of errors.

  • jashley

I can give you a couple Dumb King.

Tax policies that decimated the middle class. You know those people that actually make up our markets.

Dollar went from 83 cents to the euro to $1.49 to the dollar, guess what that did for the middle class's buying power, not to mention the real value of their savings.

Decimation of the financial regulations which allowed widespread speculation in the financial and credit markets. Glass-Stegal Act. This is what caused the real estate crash which again cost the middle class trillions in their main asset; their home.

Refusal to extend unemployment benefits even though the average time to find a job was over a year. This would have lessened the effects of the recession but it would have made Jr look worse as the only unemployed counted are those collecting benefits. Whose your buddy?

Would you like some more, of course your not going to listen to the ones I gave you anyway.

Sorry I replied above you but there was no reply button on your posts.

    Peace

  • larry d.

That was before the stimulus took effect, Reverend. Things change.

  • jashley

Many GM employees have been convicted of crimes too, does that make GM guilty of crimes.

Fox has admitted running edited tapes that misrepresented Sherrod's remarks.

No, I'm not for voter itimidation I've been a poll worker many times, I've seen many people try to intimidate voters from both sides. No one has proven that the 3 "new black panthers" were practicing voter itimidation. You know innocent until proven guilty. Oh that's right you don't believe in the constitution.

But you are right you have another trifecta of errors to your credit.

    Peace
    j

  • Da King

Maybe it's just me, but hundreds of thousands of phony voter registration forms submitted by ACORN sounds criminal to me. Justice Departments all over the country agree. Then there's the little matter of the former head of ACORN stealing millions of dollars. ACORN covered that one up too.

If GM employees were putting shoddy brakes on hundreds of thousands of cars, that most definitely would be taken up against GM in court.

I've never personally witnessed any voter intimidation, but I know it when I see it, and that's what those New Black Panther guys were doing. It's on tape, and also supported by several witnesses who were present. I think you should ask yourself what political belief leads you to support those who commit voter intimidation. Whatever it is, it's misguided.

  • The Reverend

Hat tip to jashley for all her precise comments in this thread.

  • larry d.

How do you know jashley is a female, Reverend? The delusions of grandeur and comically mistaken beliefs remind me a bit of your friend Jacquie, but I haven't seen anything indicating gender.

  • Franklin Mills

I'm just curious, who paid for those bus trips? To what extent was the national organization Tea Party Patriots involved? Tom Zawistowski says somewhere that his group's only connection with the Tea Party Patriots was "signing up for some bus trips" (or something like that).
