Sorry, I'm not lying. The conservative problem with this issue is, as I have stated elsewhere, the "Israel and America are uniquely exceptional" problem.

Conservatives simply filter out facts that they don't want to recognize. It's too inconvenient for their pre-conceived opinions.

Does Bebe support a 2-state solution?

The Israelis do support a two-state solution, and have for decades. The sticking point is that they know the Muslims only want to use it as a progressive step toward the destruction of Israel. The root of the problem, the intractable position, lies with the Muslims, and anyone who says otherwise is lying.

The U.S. hasn't been trying to broker a deal between Israelis and Palestinians in the last 8 years. That last minute lick and a promise by Condi Rice was laughable, embarassing.

And why is it that King never included the fact that many Israelis don't want a peaceful 2 state agreement either?

And what does any of that have to do with renewing U.S. efforts to get a peace deal?

angry….we reap what we sow. I don't know how long the suicidal hatred will continue…but I do know this: They want to hurt us because our military terrorizes them.

The most urgent cause is the Israeli-Palestinian situation. Muslims everywhere would take the west more seriously if the U.S. really brokered a fair two state deal. With Bebe in charge there's little chance of that happening. Obama has been handed an extremely difficult situation. Trying to get out of 2 Vietnams simultaneously, Likudniks in charge of Israel, and a retracting economy at home.

Obama's doing pretty good for the shape he's in.
