The Silence of the Alpacas

by The Reverend on August 11, 2009

in Barack Obama, Winger-mindedness, fearmongering, health care

Cool blues alpacas or Obama "death panel" frontrunners?

President Obama, considered by half of southern voters to not be a U.S. citizen, has proven how dangerous it is for America to grant amnesty to the undocumenteds. In Obama's case, first he works his bony, non U.S citizen ass into the White House, no simple matter that……and now, according to some popular pitbull wearing lipstick, he is on the cusp of setting up "death panels" to, apparently, hand select who gets to live and who doesn't. Kind of a cost-benefit-analysis-horror-movie kind of thing.

This is exactly what Super-Patriot, Rush Limbaugh, warned us about during the wingnut-hell-raising days of the "no amnesty for immigrants" period a few years ago. First you grant "them" amnesty, next they get elected president, and finally,……they set up "death panels."

The ex-governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin,…I am most certain…..would never lie about important stuff like end-of-life decision-making. Just as she would never exploit her handicapped child……

"Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no!"

"And who will suffer the most when they ration care?" Palin asks. "The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil."

Such a system IS downright evil….and Palin didn't even tell us the half of it.

You see those two alpacas in the picture above? They look all cute and cool with their blues hats and ties on, don't they? But sometimes alpacas are not just alpacas. I was told that the alpacas were there to promote some alpaca society……as if. Now, after reading the queen of bulldogs, I think I know why those alpacas were down in Wheeling, West Virginia. They must be the frontrunners for Obama's "death panels."

Let me explain. Most of the attendees at the Heritage Blues Festival over the weekend were folks well over 40 years old. While we were all walking by Obama's alpacas and stopping to snap photos and commenting on how "cute" they were and all that…….the hidden cameras in their hats, probably put there by Rahm Emmanuel, were recording the baby-boomer herd. Yep. That's really what was going on.

Palin held back on telling us all the gory details about Obama's "death panel" plans……….it's a lot worse than just offing Down Syndrome victims and old people for their non-productivity. President Obama, along with being an undocumented, is a secret homosexual Muslim cannibal. I know……I was shocked too when I first learned about it. Not the Muslim part, hell everyone knows he's a Muslim. The homosexual part? Not really a surprise either…..I mean, look at Larry Craig (R-ID). Craig is tall and Obama is tall. What other evidence do you need? But the cannibal part………now that was a surprise. It's getting harder and harder to recognize Muslim cannibals these days…..isn't it? They're always wearing those damn disguises.

So, here's the real story…..the ugly story behind Obama's "death panel" health care reform…..the story that should be twittered to every twit around the world. Alpacas, disguised as bluesmen, and equipped with hidden cameras, have been dispersed all around the country to record which baby-boomers will provide the choicest cannibal-cuts for members of the ObamaCare, death panel, homosexual Islamic health care reform-cult. Boomers are mostly too fat anyway, and can't be very productive,…..but the fat-rippling in the human rump roasts, I've heard, is to die for.

Where Sarah Barracuda held back, probably because it's just too frightening to imagine, is that the weakest, fattest, most non-productive, most handicapped amongst us are not going to have to go and stand before Obama's "death panel" for "bureaucrats to decide" who lives and who doesn't……the death panel is coming to us.

Yeah, you may think it's all funny now…….but you won't think it's funny when two silent alpacas wearing blues hats show up at your front door and they're accompanied by Barney Frank carrying a bottle of Chianti.

We'll see who's laughing then.

It is amazing what too much time outide on a hot sunny day can do to ones mind

Da King August 11, 2009 at 12:18 pm

Right on, Rev, because we all know the health care debate is really about what Sarah Palin writes on Facebook. Atta way to tackle the issues. Olby would be so proud.

Da King August 11, 2009 at 12:33 pm

But since you brought up Palin's "death panels," and you brought up Rahm Emanuel as well………

Let's look at a statement by Rahm's brother, Ezekiel Emanuel, who is one of Obama's KEY ADVISORS ON HEALTH CARE (not that Mr. HopenChange would ever practice cronyism by hiring Rahm's bro, of course. I'm sure Zeke was the most qualified man in the country for the job). Here's a quote from sweet Zeke:

"This civic republican or deliberative democratic conception of the good provides both procedural and substantive insights for developing a just allocation of health care resources. Procedurally, it suggests the need for public forums to deliberate about which health services should be considered basic and should be socially guaranteed. Substantively, it suggests services that promote the continuation of the polity — those that ensure healthy future generations, ensure development of practical reasoning skills, and ensure full and active participation by citizens in public deliberation — are to be socially guaranteed as basic. Conversely, services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia."

According to Zeke Emanuel, the "death panels" would only deny care to those deemed not to be "participating citizens." Like Sarah Palin's child. I can't blame you for missing this though, Rev. When Olby was making fun of Palin on his show last night, he forgot to mention the source of Palin's comments too…an inadvertent mistake, I'm sure.

The Reverend August 11, 2009 at 12:58 pm

I know that no matter what Palin says, it is always completely honest. And if she says something that seems, you know, kind of crazy……it's only because a liberal, somewhere, made the crazy claim first.

Like I said in the post…..Obama's only concern is to euthanize as many Americans as possible. How could it be any other way?

The Reverend August 11, 2009 at 12:59 pm

angry……not the heat, my friend,…..the humidity…..well, there was also the alcohol.

larry d. August 11, 2009 at 1:00 pm

I guess you don't want to comment on Zeke's theories, Reverend?

The Reverend August 11, 2009 at 1:20 pm

There's nothing to comment about, larry. Of course Emmanuel, his brother, his best bud Barack, and ALL Democrats, except for Baucus, Lincoln, and Ben Nelson……want to kill the weak, elderly and the handicapped. That's always been the plan.

I'm just agreeing with the super-patriotic, highly-intelligent, and grassrooted conservative opposition. They're so sensible. I hadn't fully appreciated how sensible these Tea Party Patriots really were…..but the most excellent behavior and the riveting, compelling dialogue that I've been witnessing in the town hall behavior has really made me a believer.

The hanging-in-effigy and the guns were the clincher for me.

angry conserv August 11, 2009 at 5:27 pm

Be careful Rev. High humidty, heat and an excess of acohol caused me to say and do many a stupid thing over the years

Fred August 11, 2009 at 6:20 pm

Hey, I really think that "death panels" are a good idea. We can start by looking at Palin, Beck, and that crook Rove! If those people don`t qualify we can ask them to donate tissue and organs. Anything but the brain.

Tbomb August 11, 2009 at 9:24 pm

mgng King, where did you get that stuff about Rahm's bro being a KEY ADVISOR? Let me guess….

Tbomb August 11, 2009 at 9:25 pm

Hey King, where did you get that stuff about Rahm's bro being a KEY ADVISOR? Let me guess….

frank August 11, 2009 at 10:47 pm

Rev,
I always suspected something was up with those alpacas. Their cuddly softness just disguises their fiendish plans to turn our children into anti gun nuts.

Mr. King,
Never heard of ol' Zeke, but he sounds pretty heartless. Maybe that is the natural result when your father is an Israeli terrorist, but don't you think you need to show a connection between what he has written and the contents of the healthcare bill?

averagejoe5 August 12, 2009 at 1:35 am

He's the health czar TBomb.

Tbomb August 12, 2009 at 7:22 am

No, Avg., he is not.

Andrea August 12, 2009 at 7:58 am

Can you please one day post a map of the USA so the right wing nuts will learn that Hawaii is part of the USA .

Apparently Palin was running her own death program. The program was were intended to help disabled and elderly people in Alaska with their daily lives and was so poorly managed a new federal review found.
The situation had become so bad, that the federal government had to forbid the state from signing up new members until the state made some necessary changes to the program.
Alaska was the only state whose program was so poorly runby the way . So I think Palin was trying to kill the Grandma's herself.

Andrea August 12, 2009 at 8:00 am

ok I clicked too soon -posted before proof reading above cross out the 'were"

For anyone who is interested in a discussion on the quotes presented by King go to this link

http://politics.theatlantic.com/2009/08/the_death_panel.php

For me personally the part of the discussion that "spoke to me" was this because it is exactly what happened to my Father.

"Let's say a doctor begins to counsel a patient with terminal pancreatic cancer. Right now, the health care system incentivizes doctors to keep that patient in a hospital and on chemotherapy until the day she dies. Late-stage pancreatic cancer is almost always fatal, and the chances that the patient will go into remission are very slim. The doctor has no incentive to tell the patient that hospice care may well be a better alternative. The last few months of life would be much more comfortable. Hospice care costs more than hospital care in most circumstances, Emanuel found — and so the end-of-life counseling that a doctor provides has little to do with saving money. ……..Emanuel opposes euthanasia, he favors giving families more information about end of care decisions (because families often want this information and don't know enough about the future to ask about it), he understands the difficulty in convincing people to think about the costs and benefits of treating their dying loved one at the end of their life, and he is not writing the health care bill"

larry d. August 12, 2009 at 8:15 am

I don't know if he's officially one of Obama's countless "czars," Tbomb, but according to the WSJ, Zeke is a senior counselor at the White House Office of Management and Budget on Health Policy. I take it his job description includes finding and eliminating inefficiencies so I'd say his writings are pertinent to Obama's creepy vision of healthcare.

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2008/12/18/rahm-emanuels-brother-joins-white-house-team/

"A second Emanuel is heading for the White House.

Ezekiel J. Emanuel, a prominent bioethicist at the National Institutes of Health–and the brother of incoming White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel–will serve as a senior counselor at the White House Office of Management and Budget on health policy, two Democratic officials said Thursday.

Zeke Emanuel will work closely with Department of Health and Human Services secretary-nominee Tom Daschle to formulate a national health insurance program and to try to curb the swelling cost of health insurance without adversely impacting health care.

Two Emanuels in the White House might sound like a voluble combination, given Rahm Emanuel’s penchant for yelling, but his brother is known for being suave and soft-spoken"

The Reverend August 12, 2009 at 8:30 am

Yep mary…..pancreatic cancer, which took three of my relatives, is incurable and everyone knows it. Yet, because of fee-for-service pricing incentives doctors and/or CEO's can milk those incurable patients for every dollar.

Thanks for the link on Emanuel.

To larry, the fact that there are two Emanuels working for Obama is just more evidence of the "creepiness" in the Democrats fact-based approach to health care reform.

Da King August 12, 2009 at 9:25 am

Tbomb,
Where did you get the idea that Zeke isn't a key white house advisor on health care reform ??? Let me guess…

Zeke Emanuel IS an Obama health care advisor, and he is working on health care reform.

http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2009/02/dr_ezekiel_emanuel_rahms_broth.html

"…one key advisor especially well connected. The brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Dr. Ezekiel J. Emanuel, a noted bioethicist, is advising the Obama administration on health care reform. Dr. Emanuel is a special advisor to the director of the White House Office of Management and Budget for health policy. He told me he is "working on (the) health care reform effort." He is "detailed" to the OMB spot and is still officially an employee of the NIH."

larry d. August 12, 2009 at 9:58 am

Zeke's writings are creepy, Reverend. He seems to think the government should place different values on people's lives according to their age. Obama has made statements that reflect that kind of thinking as well.

I didn't write anything about the administration's corrupt Chicago machine-style cronyism but that's a pretty good topic, too.

The Reverend August 12, 2009 at 1:40 pm

larry….is it okay for hospitals, doctors, etc. to "place different values on people's lives according to their age?" Because that's what happens every single day throughout the country.

According to your thinking here…..it's okay if for-profit medical professionals, directed by for-profit insurers, place different values on different patients according to their ages…..but it's not okay for government, a non-profit outfit, to do anything that could be interpreted as the equivalent of what happens every single day.

larry d. August 12, 2009 at 2:59 pm

Medical professionals use their best judgment on a case by case basis with input from the family. That's a lot different than looking at a statistical chart.

I don't see reason to demonize doctors, either. I've never encountered one who has seemed driven by profit. If I did, I'd switch doctors. But it appears that demonizing American citizens is just what Obama and the dems do, more and more as time goes on.

It's despicable, really.

The Reverend August 12, 2009 at 4:06 pm

Quite a reach. The doctor uses those statistical charts right now. Otherwise, how would he know what to prescribe?

When you say stuff like, Obama demonizes American citizens….your credibility drops a notch. It's just silly to say stuff that's so obviously ridiculous.

What is despicable is killing 4300 American soldiers…for nothing.

larry d. August 12, 2009 at 8:26 pm

Sure he does. He also uses his prior knowledge of the patient, direct examination, information from the family, etc., etc.

As for the other, you folks have become the demonization party. Very ugly and divisive.

Tbomb August 12, 2009 at 9:24 pm

Zeke gave like 3 speeches …

Tbomb August 13, 2009 at 7:41 am

I went to your link, King and invite others to read the readers comments there. Larry, I guarantee you have not read any of his writings, just stuff taken out of context by your fellow wingnuts.

larry d. August 13, 2009 at 9:10 am

I read the entire report I linked to, Tbomb. Your guarantees are a joke.

The Reverend August 13, 2009 at 10:21 am

Then, most likely, reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

larry d. August 14, 2009 at 12:40 pm

Touche. I guess.
