No. I don't know what's being protested. Government spending, right now, is a good thing. Why would anyone protest that? It's not "insane" enough. The trampling of liberty was during the last president. I'm sure you just made an inadvertant mistake there.

Spending complaints are one thing. The overall protest is indecipherable. It just seems like conservatives are mad because their guys suck so bad and Democrats and Obama are more popular than they are.

I'd vote for the JFK party or the Reagan party over what we have now – the two parties of fiscal insanity (GOP=insane, Dems=insane squared).

And Rev, you suggest that people protesting over out-of-control spending and the trampling of individual rights are not "coherent." C'mon now. That's just dumb. What are people supposed to be doing, jumping for joy that our pols are spending us down the drain ? Sometimes your passions seem to overrule your brain.

I hear ya'. However, as long as campaigns are funded the way they are….there's very little hope of another political party gaining traction.

A 3rd party? Sign me up, unless it is the Federalists, I still don't understand how they got George Washington. Just a different time I guess. The 2 party system has left us with two that have very few differences. Give me real choice. Lets call it the Kennedy party, not one of Teddy but the one of JFK, or the Reagan party. Remember government is fine as long as you keep the politics out of it.
