larry has 1/2 of 3 reasons correct.

"more redemption for the Bush administration" did give me a belly laugh.

"a new speaker" is, laughingly, nothing but wishful thinking.

But Obama's "growing fidelity"….like I said, is a choice, mistaken as it is, that Obama has made in order to not waste his first term.

I'm saying that Democrats don't go around wearing a badge that says, "traditional moral values keeper." Now I know the GOP has to cater to the evangelical nuts, but that's their problem.

And larry….I mean, what the heck? Stopping the CIA from lying would be like stopping Sarah Palin from winking. The matter has been dropped because Obama, sadly, does not want his first term dominated by war crimes trials….that's why.

Since the Rev won't answer you, larry, I'll cast my vote and say the CIA lying to Congress is about a million times more serious than Gov. Sanford having an affair. I don't know how it's even possible to see things otherwise.

It's hard for me to even take the outrage over Pelosi seriously. The CIA does lie to Congress regularly. Why would it seem outrageous for someone to state the truth?

I disagree entirely with the importance of Pelosi's accurate comments versus GOP hypocrites openly discriminating and promoting discrimination of those who have a different sexual orientation than they do. Makes me sick.

The worthless and feckless Republicans raised hell over Pelosi's acccurate statement to take the spotlight off of Bush/Cheney war crimes….KNOWING FULL WELL that all the proof was classified and would remain classified. They created a bogus tempest in a hand fabricated teacup.

But then the GOP ain't got much goin' for it, so it's all understandable. What's not understandable are those on the sidelines who can't or won't acknowledge what's being done.

What difference does that make?

The point is, when the speaker of the house claims the CIA lies to congress as a matter of course, it's a pretty big deal and should be looked into. That kind of thing could get the country into wars on false premises and such, don't you think? It's certainly a bigger deal than another politician having another affair.

But it seems like the whole matter has been dropped. I wonder why?
