I think the company line on Geithner is that he just "forgot" to pay his taxes (which obviously makes him an expert on financial matters).

And he "forgot" for 5 years in a row.

Even after being sent numerous reminders from the IMF.

Even after being audited and found out.

And nobody is even mentioning that the IMF reimbursed Geithner for those taxes he didn't pay. Some people would call that fraud, but since Geithner is an Obama-appointee, that makes him "eminently qualified and above reproach."

Hmmm. So, in the Rev's view:

Blago is a non-story.
Hillary as Secretary of State is a non-story.
Holder's past actions in no way relate to his qualifications for the job of Attorney General.
The mainstream media is right-wing (LOL).
Obama shouldn't have to produce a birth certificate, even though the Constitution declares that a president must be american-born.

And it was liberals who screamed about Rick Warren, not conservatives.

Maybe you'd be happier if the media just checked in with Obama each day so he could tell them what to say.

If you have any links for charts, comparisons, etc, of taxes versus credits, please pass those along.

I would imagine, the R's want the trading and the D's favor the taxes. I'm just happy it's being addressed at all. Small favors and all that.

:fist bump:

"In other news"

I am torn as to whether climate-protection policy should be done with a trading system for carbon-emissions-credits or by taxing carbon emissions. Carbon taxes would allow the market forces to find the most efficient processes. NASA's James Hansen is in favor of carbon taxes.
