You're mistaken, Reverend.

Bush has been president the last 8 years. Americans thought he did a bang up job the first four so they voted him in again.

It was a "mandate."

Bush, as you know, lost the 2000 election. No good ideas from the right were voted for then. In 2004….gay bashing state initiatives were the good ideas the right had to bring out the faithful. It worked.

But that's the end of it for awhile. 2006, no good ideas from the right….ditto 2008….and the right's plan going forward is to go back to all those good ideas voters have already rejected. Good luck with that.
