But even if you could, the point was – those words came from the U.S. Constitution, and the rights granted in the Constitution apply to american citizens, not to foreign enemy combatants. That used to be easily understood by even the most dense americans, but that was before the liberal influenza attempted to destroy the capacity for rational thought.
