JFK wanted to decrease the income tax rates on the wealthiest people in america, because he realized oppressive taxation on the wealthy inhibited economic growth. JFK was the direct opposite of Obama there. Ditto for capital gains taxes. Obama is a closet socialist. JFK believed in capitalism (before Democrats lost their minds and set our country on a 40+ year odyssey of liberal insanity, resulting in the destruction of the very people they were supposed to be helping).

JFK acted to stop communism in Vietnam and confronted it in Cuba. Obama wants to pull out of Iraq, which would be caving to Iran.

From an experience standpoint, JFK had a degree in international affairs from Harvard, and wrote a thesis about the incorrectness of appeasing pre-war Germany that was later published as a book. Obama wrote a book about himself. JFK served in WWII as a PT boat commander. He also spent 6 years in the House of Representatives and 8 years in the Senate before he ran for president. Obama has no military experience, and spent 5 minutes in the Senate before he started running for president. Obama has no business experience, no management experience, and no economic experience. He has no significant legislative accomplishments. He made one anti-war speech in 2002 that is prescient in hindsight (so let's make him president, rah, rah, rah !!! Absurd). Obama is actually a creation of that shallow media that you allege to hate so much. The unexamined media love with the IDEA of a Barack Obama is why he is where he is. He has NO business being the president. It would be like McDonalds hiring a college graduate with no business experience and then immediately making him the CEO. Give me a break already. Stop the insanity. Rev. Wright, Ayers, Rezko, bittergate, etc. only serve to raise further questions about his character. None of those things exclude Obama from being president in my mind, but they do shed some light on who he is and what he stands for, which is – left wing politics. That's legitimate, though I admit, if I see one more Jeremiah Wright tirade on tv, I may throw a brick through the set. The media beats a story to death, because it's easier than doing any real journalism in the era of 24/7 news.

Don't forget his anti-white ideology. Mustn't forget that.

And Bush, The Younger's lack of experience didn't seem to stop voters from putting him into a job he was totally unqualified for and uninterested in. As he has since proven.

But of course the racial mouse trap created from whole cloth by the screechers….Rev. Wright….."troubles" conservatives. It troubles them because they believe, erroneously of course, that America is exceptional above all countries. Therefore any criticism, and especially vocalized so prominently, of America's multitude of sins….simply cannot be tolerated.

And it doesn't matter that Obama wasn't the guy saying these things…..it doesn't matter to dishonest conservatives who are attempting to defeat Obama. Because Obama stayed in that church, somehow, now he is a Jew hating, un-patriot, Islamic sympathizer who loves communism.

If I said there was no reason for that attitude of yours other than racism, would you buy it ? No, you wouldn't.

Not everyone thinks like you do, Rev (thank goodness). Many see Obama as totally lacking in experience, shallow, and are troubled by his 20-year connection to the racist Rev. Wright. Voting for such a person isn't in anyone's best interest, and certainly not the best interests of the country.

And I say this as someone who had a great deal of interest in Obama initially, before I discovered what he really had to offer.

I said there is no defense for Democrats saying they would vote for McCain, still a freaking Republican, instead of Obama. No defense. Perhaps Pennsylvania whites wouldn't vote for a black….just as many other American whites won't vote for a black. But for a Democrat to change sides because the Democratic candidate isn't Hillary, but instead, is a black man…that's stupidity, no matter what the reason is.

For Democrats to argue that McCain would be better than Obama if Hillary can't win….is self-defeating and indefensible. Simply to argue on faith based personal emotion, detached from facts, is kind of childish…..as my friend Andrea pointed out.
