larry: I agree, the Dems system is a clustermess. I agree. Caucuses should go. Super-Duper Delegates should go.

King: Now here's the problem. I've told you many times and linked evidence that Qwest officials were confronted in February of 2001 with a contract offer form Bush's NSA. Vacuuming up all e-mails of Americans and filtering them for whatever the NSA wanted…all without warrants….was the plan. The Qwest CEO has stated in a deposition that he refused the White House's deal because he thought it was illegal. Other telcos did not refuse.

All this happened 7 months before George Bush could even spell al-Qaeda. The "tracking down these terrorists" stuff is okay for the fringe right….but it has nothing, really, to do with this.

The president does not have the right to spy on Americans without a warrant, period. To argue otherwise is to argue against the 4th amendment. How would arguing against the 4th amendment play…..versus a strict constructionist interpretation of the Constitution?

You tell 'em, Rev. Post 9/11, when the federal government said "telecoms, we need your help tracking down these terrorists who have killed thousands of americans", according to you, the proper response from the telecoms would have been "screw you". How very patriotic. You're such a flag-waver.

I'm not sure I follow Reverend, but I'm not sure empirical evidence or facts have much to do with the way Dems pick a nominee these days. I could be wrong, but with the caucuses, superdelegates and the votes of millions of residents in two major states being thrown out the window, it's all too Byzantine for me to figure out.

And I might add…when the King of the United States speaks and says something is legal….then by the inherent power of our King, in whom all power has been given…..it has to be legal.

The last time we had a King, during the reign of King Richard, the Breaker and Enterer, we heard the same Supreme Wisdom uttered.

larry: There is no mathematical way Clinton can overcome Obama's delegate lead. Numbers are the stuff of empirical evidence. Empirical evidence, facts, have little to do with establishment Washington. The fact that George W. Bush has continually violated the law and the Constitution certainly didn't ever get in the way of a Congress that rejects facts as easily as Larry Craig did after being caught in a wide stance.

But hey, it's America.

My understanding is that the Telecoms haven't really been pushing for imunity[their attorneys never would have cooperated without guarantees from the Bushies] So it's not the Telecoms they're trying to protect from lawsuits ….it's the Administration!
