Yes, children are most welcome at Akron's First Night.  This is a family style event, with fun and entertainment for all age groups.  Kids will enjoy the arts and crafts areas, and best of all kids under 10 are free when accompanied by an adult.  For more information call 330-762-8555, or visit www.firstnightakron.org.

The Blossom Holiday Lighting Festival is a drive-through event, carloads are $12; shuttle buses and limosines $30; and buses $100.  However, discount tickets are available at Marc's Drug Stores and online at www.blossomholidaylighting.com.

Skating is free at Lock 3 Park, and skate rental is only $2.  The skating rink is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and later until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.  Skate Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
